Apples - To a medium bowl, add all ingredients, stir to combine, cut butter into the dry ingredients with a fork, and distribute apple mixture evenly between the two sheets of foil in mounded piles; set aside.

Seal up foil packs tightly around the edges to trap the steam in, place packs directly on grill grates, lower the heat to medium, close the grill cover, and cook for about 7 minutes, or until done (bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until done). Because all ovens and grills vary in their heat output, it's hard to say exactly how long to cook the packs. I estimate as short as about 7 minutes and as long as about 15 minutes but it's highly variable; make sure to keep a watchful eye so they don't burn. Place packs on a plate, allow them to rest for 1 to 2 minutes, and be careful when you open the packs (use oven mitts) because there is a lot of steam.

Shrimp Boil Foil Packs

baby red potatoes (OR baby yellow potatoes)

butter melted + ½ cup (divided)

chopped fresh parsley, for topping

Chop corn into thirds, then chop each third in half lengthwise. Chop potatoes into 2 inch pieces. Boil corn and potatoes for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl combine shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes. Stir together melted 3 tablespoons butter, Old Bay seasoning, garlic, juice from half a lemon, and salt and pepper to taste and pour over shrimp, sausage, and veggies. Stir to coat.

Divide between four 12x12 inch sheets of aluminum foil. Fold edges of foil up around the food to create a closed packet.

Cook on preheated grill over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes on one side, then flip and cook another 5-6 minutes on the second side. Alternately, you can bake the packets at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until corn is tender and shrimp are pink and fully cooked.

While packets are cooking, melt remaining butter in a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat. Once melted, continue to stir gently over medium heat for 3-4 minutes longer until color changes from pale yellow to a golden amber (but be careful not to burn it).

Serve shrimp boil packs topped with chopped parsley, lemon wedges for squeezing, and browned butter for drizzling over the top or dipping.

Easy, healthy, garlic Herb Butter Salmon and Asparagus Foil Packs are a quick-and-tasty 30-minute meal for summer nights, camping, and cookouts. The flaky salmon and tender asparagus will melt in your mouth!

Herb Butter Salmon and Asparagus Foil Packs

skineless salmon fillets

asparagus (ends trimmed)

lemon (thinly sliced, (plus additional wedges for garnish))

butter (at room temperature)

Italian seasoning (or Herbs de Provence, see note)

Season salmon generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Arrange one salmon fillet and 1/4 of the asparagus in the center of one 12x12 inch piece of foil. Repeat with remaining salmon and asparagus on 3 other pieces of foil. Slide lemon slices under the salmon and asparagus.

In a small bowl mix butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Drop large dollops of the herb butter on top of the salmon and asparagus.

Fold the foil tightly around the salmon and asparagus, being sure to seal the ends together tightly so the juices and butter doesn't run out while cooking. Grill over medium high heat for 6-8 minutes on each side, OR bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, until asparagus is tender and salmon is flaky.

Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the top and serve immediately.

Preheat grill to 400 degrees F or medium-high.

Cut potatoes into quarters and chop onion and pepper.

Combine potatoes, onion, and pepper with oil, seasoning salt, parsley and pepper in a bowl.

Lay out four large sheets of tin foil (double them up if you are not using heavy duty foil) and spray the center of each with non stick spray.

Divide vegetables between the four foil sheets and top each with two sausages.

Seal packs and place on direct heat on the grill. Cook for 15-18 minutes, until the vegetables are tender (if you check them and they are not quite done, just give them a stir and continue cooking).

When vegetables are tender, open packs and crack an egg into the center of each and sprinkle egg with salt and pepper as desired. Loosely tent the foil over the egg (this helps to cook the top of the white) as much as possible, and close the lid on the grill.

Cook for 3-5 minutes, until desired doneness is reached.

Quick and delicious foil-pack dinner loaded with juicy steak bites and tender mushrooms. 

Steak and Mushrooms Foil Packs

sirloin

mushrooms

garlic, (minced)

soy sauce

olive oil

basil

green onions, (for garnish)

In a large bowl combine steak, mushrooms, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, basil, thyme, salt and pepper.

Cover and set in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes.

Take out from fridge and set on the counter for 15 minutes.

Cut out 4 large heavy-duty foil sheets. If you don't have heavy-duty foil, you can just double up on regular foil.

Divide steak and mushrooms between the sheets of foil.

Wrap foils tightly around the steak and mushrooms and seal it all together.

Preheat grill to HIGH.

Transfer foil packets to the grill and grill over high heat for 10 minutes per side.

Garnish with crushed red pepper and green onions, then serve.

GRILL METHOD

Preheat oven to 425˚F.

Cook for 20 to 22 minutes, or until internal temperature of steak reaches at least 140˚F. Use an Instant Read Thermometer to check for doneness. Just poke through the foil with the thermometer and set it into one of the steak pieces.

If you want a nice char on the steak, open up the packets the last 2 minutes of cooking and pop them under the broiler for a couple minutes.

OVEN METHOD

Quarter potatoes, making sure pieces are smaller than 1 inch. Toss with oil, garlic and herb seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Portion out between four 12x12 inch pieces of foil.&nbsp;
