These French Toast Roll-Ups&nbsp;have cream cheese, fruit, or whatever fillings you like rolled up in cinnamon sugar bread.

French Toast Roll-Ups

white sandwich bread

cream cheese

eggs

milk

sugar

cinnamon

butter (for greasing the pan)

Cut the crust from each slice of bread and flatten it out with a rolling pin.

Place about 1-2 teaspoons of your chosen filling 1 inch from one end of the bread in a strip. Roll the bread up tightly and repeat with the remaining pieces of bread. I really like cream cheese with diced strawberries as one combination and Nutella with diced strawberries as another combination.

In a shallow bowl whisk the eggs and milk until well combined.

In a separate shallow bowl mix the sugar with the cinnamon.

Heat a skillet set over medium heat and melt a tablespoon of butter.

Dip each bread roll in the egg mixture coating well and then place them in the pan seam side down. Cook in batches until golden brown, turning them to cook and brown on all sides, about 2 minutes per side. Add butter to the pan as needed.

Add cooked rolls immediately from the pan to the cinnamon sugar and roll until completely covered in sugar. You can serve with syrup for dipping but I think they're perfectly good all by themselves.

Chocolate & Marshmallow French Toast Roll Ups

(30 grams) mini marshmallows

(90 grams) mini chocolate chips

butter

Tablespoons (45 cl) milk

Tablespoon vanilla extract

cocoa powder

(70 grams) granulated sugar

Cut the crust from each slice of bread and flatten the slice out with a rolling pin.

Place the mini marshmallows and the chocolate chips inside towards one end of the slice of bread.

Roll the bread up tightly. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.

Prepare the chocolate egg mixture: in a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and one tablespoon of cocoa powder. Stir well.

Prepare the chocolate-sugar mixture: in a plate, mix together sugar, cinnamon and one tablespoon of cocoa powder. Set aside.

Heat a skillet set over medium heat and melt the butter.

Dip each roll in the chocolate egg mixture, coating well and place them into the pan. Cook them until golden brown on all sides, about 2 minutes per side. Add butter to the pan as needed.

Take each cooked roll from the pan and roll immediately in the chocolate-sugar mixture until completely covered in sugar. Breakfast is ready!

This sounds absolutely and utterly positively indulgent and heavenly!

Trim the crust from the bread.

Flatten each slice of bread out with a rolling pin.

Place a heaping teaspoon of your filling in the middle of the bread and spread it out in an even layer, leaving a 1/2-inch border all around.

Roll the bread up and repeat with the remaining slices.

In a shallow bowl thoroughly whisk the eggs and milk together. In another shallow bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.

Warm a griddle (or large sauté pan) over medium heat. Once hot, melt 1 tablespoon butter.

Coat the rolls with the egg mixture and place seam side down on the griddle. Cook for about 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown. Add more butter to the griddle as needed for the second batch.

Place the hot rolls into the cinnamon-sugar and roll until completely covered, gently shaking off any excess.

Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, if desired.
