No need for an ice cream maker. Just two basic ingredients will give you a start for countless variations. This recipe can be made with fresh or frozen strawberries.

No Churn Strawberry Ice Cream

strawberries

sugar

cornstarch

Tablespoons juice

tbsp strawberry liqueur (optional) (***see notes)

heavy whipping cream (very cold

Place the frozen strawberries in a sieve over bowl to thaw and collect the juice. Once they are thawed, slice them and reserve 2 tablespoons of the juice. ( For fresh strawberries rinse and dry them. Cut off the leafy tops and slice in half.)

Place the sliced berries with juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat. ( Fresh strawberries will release juice as they cook). Sprinkle with sugar and mix. Allow the berries to cook until they soften about 5 minutes ( longer if using fresh berries)

Dissolve the cornstarch in the juice (or water if using fresh berries) and add to the simmering strawberries. Stir and continue to cook until it thickens about 1 to 2 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent the compote from burning. Remove from heat and place the sauce pot in ice water, taking care that water doesn&#x27;t get into the pan, stir until it cools.

Add the strawberry liqueur and put the sauce in the fridge to keep cold.

Fit your electric mixer with the whisk attachment. In a medium size bowl whisk the sweetened condensed milk and strawberry compote until mixed. Keep cold.

In your chilled bowl add the cold heavy whipping cream and beat on medium-high until stiff peaks form when the whisk is lifted. Do not overheat or you'll get butter.

With a silicone spatula fold in the strawberry mixture to the whipped cream. Mix together until well mixed.

Pour into your freezer containers and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Store in Freezer.

When ready to serve, take out of freezer for about 15 minutes. It does freeze hard but it is delicious.

I love strawberry as a seasonal fruit very much and this Ice Cream looks yum. Awesome presentation.

Oh this sounds absolutely scrumptious. We actually have an ice cream maker, but have never used it because no-churn ice cream is just so easy. I'm loving that strawberry sauce and have got to try this one!

Oh....nostalgia hitting me hard on this one. My grandmother made the most awesome homemade strawberry ice cream. I love this hack....because I have no room for any more kitchen gadgets.  Perfect timing with the 4th upon us.

I've always been all for strawberry ice cream! Over chocolate and vanilla ANY day. This is a great way to use up  this summer's bounty of strawberries. Despite the fact that I have an ice cream machine, I'm into the idea that this is no churn ;)

I love homemade ice cream! I also loooove no churn ice cream because I hate having to lug out the ice cream maker. No churn is so much easier to make.

I have an ice cream maker, so I do make churned ice creams fairly regularly, but having to freeze the drum in advance can mean that I don't have the time or the freezer space to use that method.  As such, it's great to have a good no-churn recipe to turn to, and I've already had some good success with sweetened condensed milk recipes.  Love that you put big pieces of strawberry into this one too - it's a really nice touch and it adds a great punch of flavour.

There are few things more nostalgic for me than classic homemade strawberry ice cream. This looks perfectly creamy and pink. Can't wait to dive into a big bowl of this!

This is great. When my family gets together, sometimes we make homemade ice cream.  This brings back many Summer memories.  Saving this, it sounds like you got the strawberry flavor down.  When I eat ice cream, I like to let it warm up a bit so that the flavors will be more intense.  I learned on an ice cream tour that  hard frozen ice cream makes our taste buds go numb and if you let it warm up a bit, you will taste much more flavor.  I can imaging that strong strawberry flavor coming through on your recipe.  Thanks for this!

This 2 Ingredient Fruit Ice Cream Recipe taste amazing and is easy to make. This refreshing ice cream is perfect a hot summer day.

Fruit Ice Cream

Frozen Fruit (any type of your choice)

Large Ripe Bananas (frozen)

Tbsp Water

Place the frozen fruit and frozen bananas in a blender or a food processor.

Then add in the water.

Blend or process on high speed for a few minutes until the mixture is completely smooth.

You can enjoy the ice cream as is or you can move the mixture to a freezer safe container (like a loaf pan) and freeze for 2-3 hours to allow the ice cream to firm up if you prefer.

Then the ice cream is ready to serve and enjoy!
