Chocolate Whiskey Brownies are fudgy and indulgent, drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with sea salt. This easy brownie recipe can be made in just 30 minutes and is perfect when you need a chocolate fix!

Chocolate Whiskey Brownies

brown sugar

unsalted butter, melted

Tablespoons whiskey

eggs

all purpose flour

cocoa powder

salt

sauce,

sea salt, optional

Preheat the oven to 350°, line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and greased liberally with baking spray or butter.

In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, and whiskey and whisk to combine.

Add in the eggs and whisk until they are well incorporated. 

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and whisk until all the dry ingredients have just been incorporated.

Pour the brownie batter into prepared baking pan and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Brownies should not be jiggly in the middle or shiny on top but might be gooey if tested with a toothpick. 

Let the brownies cool completely before cutting. Drizzle cut brownies with caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt if desired. 

Came out excellent!! I don't own an 8x8 pan, used a 9x13 so they cooked faster and came out thinner. Flavor was fantastic. I added 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and dusted with powdered sugar. Next time I'm doubling the recipe as the three of us devoured these the same night. LOL

sugar

vanilla extract

baking powder

milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.

Place butter in a large microwave safe mixing bowl, melt completely.

Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla and eggs. Whisk to combine well. Add remaining ingredients

Whisk until completely combined, but do not over mix.

Pour into prepared baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
