Back with another 20 Minute Air Fryer recipe - Crispy Garlic Tofu. My Crispy Garlic Tofu is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and requires ZERO deep-frying. You can make air fryer crispy garlic tofu at home with a few secret tips. Also sharing my addicting and delicious spicy garlic sauce that tastes amazing with anything! Crispy Garlic Tofu

Pack of Medium-firm Tofu

tbsp of Minced Garlic

tbsp of Soy Sauce

2.5 tbsp of Vegetarian Oyster Sauce

Green Onion (chopped)

Red Chili (chopped)

Sesame Seeds

Sugar

Cilantro (chopped)

HOT oil

In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 cups of water. Cut tofu into bite-size pieces and soak tofu in water for at least 5 - 10 minutes.

Heat up 4 tablespoons of oil and prepare the sauce by mixing garlic, chopped green onion, chopped red chili, and sesame seeds in a bowl.

Once the oil is hot, pour the oil over the ingredients, and add in soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, and sugar. Mix well and set aside.

Line the air fryer with the tofu and air fryer at 400F for 15 minutes, flipping halfway. Make sure to brush on or spray oil on top of the tofu, which will help crisp up the tofu.

Depending on your air fryer, you may need to increase the cooking time to 20-23 minutes.

Drizzle the sauce over the tofu and garnish with cilantro.

This Easy Baked Tofu is one of the easiest and best tofu dishes you’ll ever make! It’s perfect for meal prep, has a great texture and flavour, and comes out beautifully crispy in just 20 minutes.  

Easy Baked Tofu

soy sauce (or liquid aminos)

olive oil oil

cornstarch

garlic powder

onion powder

paprika

sea salt

black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat and set it aside. 

In a medium size bowl place the pressed and cubed tofu. Add in liquid aminos and olive oil and toss to coat. Add in all of the other seasoning ingredients (the cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sea salt and black pepper) and toss to thoroughly combine.

Place tofu on lined baking sheet, ensuring to give each piece space so that it doesn’t touch.  Cook for 20 minutes, shaking and flipping the tofu at 10 minutes, then continuing to cook. 

Remove after tofu is cooked. Allow to cool for a few minutes then serve. Enjoy!

This almond butter garlic tofu is baked until crispy and then it&#039;s coated in a sticky and savory sauce! Serve with roasted broccoli and fluffy brown rice for a delicious and easy dinner!

Almond Butter Garlic Tofu

oz block firm tofu

arrowroot powder

¼ cup low-sodium tamari

maple syrup

tbsp rice vinegar

almond butter ((or peanut butter))

½ inch piece of ginger (grated)

garlic (minced)

water

lime juice

onions

sesame seeds

Preheat

Press

Press the tofu for 30 minutes and then drain the excess water. Cut the block of tofu into 4 slices and then cut each slice into small cubes.

Bake

Place the tofu on a parchment-lined tray. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of arrowroot over the tofu and use your hands to gently toss and coat each side. Arrange the tofu on the tray so there is space between each piece and bake it for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Sauce

Combine tamari, maple syrup, rice vinegar, almond butter, onion powder, grated ginger, and minced garlic into a medium sauce pan over medium heat and stir it together. Let it cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

Slurry

In a separate small bowl, whisk together 3 tbsp of water and 2 tsp of arrowroot powder into a slurry and then stir it into the sauce. Add 1 tbsp fresh lime juice. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce thicken for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. If the sauce gets too thick, take the pan off the stove and add 1-2 additional tbsp of water to loosen it up.  

Toss

Take the tofu out of the oven and carefully transfer it to the pan with the sauce.  Gently toss the tofu with the sauce until it&#39;s evenly coated. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
