This holiday smoothie is bursting with warm spices like ginger, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

Gingerbread Smoothie

Banana

Cup Almond Milk, vanilla, unsweetened

Tablespoon Chia Seeds

Teaspoon Clove, ground

Teaspoon Ginger Root, ground

Teaspoon Nutmeg, ground

Teaspoon Cinnamon, ground

Tablespoon Blackstrap Molasses

Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Add ingredients in the order listed and blend until smooth.

This delicious smoothie is the best of both worlds...pumpkin AND gingerbread! Try it topped with raw cookie dough for the ultimate treat.

Pumpkin Gingerbread Smoothie 

(125 g) pure pumpkin puree

large (125 g) frozen banana

1.5 tbsp (30 g) molasses

ginger

cinnamon

scoop (30 g) vanilla plant-based protein powder

almond milk

Add the milk to your blender, starting with 1 cup, then add the rest of the ingredients. You may need to add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.

Start blending on low then slowly increase speed. Blend until smooth and creamy. 

Pour into a glass and top with the optional cookie dough crumble (see notes). Enjoy right away.

This is the best smoothie ever...I've made it a bunch of times and it's so yummy I have to stop myself from drinking it in seconds. I usually use a whole banana and add a bit of extra almond milk but otherwise make it as is...a little tiny bit of nutmeg is good too. Thanks for sharing!
