Juicy, tender and full of flavor, these Glazed Pork Chops are made in a cast iron skillet. Topped with onions, and an amazing brown sugar glaze.

Balsamic Glazed Pork Chops

Salt and pepper

Tbs Olive oil

pork loin chops

onion

garlic (minced)

balsamic vinegar

Tbs dark brown sugar

Season the pork chops on both sides, slice the onions thinly and mince the garlic.Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.

Prep

Cook the pork chops about 3-4 minutes each side until an internal temperature of 145 degrees F is reached.

Remove pork chops, and keep warm by tenting with foil.

Cook the Pork

In the same skillet, add garlic and onions and cook for a minute or two until the onions soften.

Add the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Reduce heat and let the sauce reduce slightly (about 5 minutes).

Cook the onions

Add pork chops back into the skillet and turn in the sauce, covering completely.

Finish up

Rest pork chops for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

Rest

Serve with the onions, spooning some extra sauce over the top.

Devour.

Jack Daniels Glazed Pork Chops

pork loin chops (3 pounds total)

orange juice

brown sugar

salt

garlic

thyme

bay leaves

tbs peppercorns

cinnamon

tbs canola oil

molasses

apple cider vinegar

rosemary

tbs cut-up unsalted butter

bourbon

Kosher salt and black pepper

Bring orange juice, brown sugar, salt, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, peppercorns, cinnamon, and 6 cups water to a simmer in a large pot. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature. Add pork and brine 12 hours.

Remove pork from brine and rinse under cold water. Pat pork dry with paper towels.

Preheat oven to 350F/180C. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork, in batches, turning once, until golden brown, 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet. Bake until the internal temperature reaches 160F/70C 4 to 6 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes. Serve drizzled with glaze.

Make the Glaze:

Combine molasses, apple cider vinegar, and rosemary in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until reduced to 2/3 cup, 12 to 15 minutes.

Whisk in unsalted butter and bourbon; continue to cook until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes.

Season with kosher salt and black pepper.

JACK DANIELS GLAZED PORK CHOPS

Quick and easy, glazed honey balsamic pork chops are tender and juicy, seared in thyme and coated with a honey balsamic sauce. Make it in under 30 minutes.

Glazed Honey Balsamic Pork Chops

vegetable oil

pork

black pepper

all purpose flour

cilantro, finely chopped (for garnish)

liquid honey

soy sauce

tablespoon all purpose flour

tablespoon garlic, minced

Generously season both sides of each pork chop with salt and pepper. Place flour into a shallow bowl and dip the pork chops in to fully and evenly coat on both sides. Set aside on a place.

Heat oil in a large shallow saucepan over medium high for 2 minutes until the hot oil sizzles and shimmers. Add the pork chops and sprigs of thyme. Sear the pork chops for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked through, when the internal temperature on a meat thermometer reaches 145 F. Remove the pork chops and thyme from the pan, and set aside on a plate.

Prepare the Pork Chops:

In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, soy sauce and flour (you can use leftover flour from the shallow bowl that was used to coat the pork chops initially). Set aside.

In the same saucepan used for the pork chops, turn the heat down to low and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Stir in the sauce and bring to a simmer until smooth and thickened to a desired consistency, about 2-3 minutes. Stir continuously to prevent the sauce from going lumpy.

Return the pork chops to the pan and toss well to coat. Cook the pork chops with the sauce for another minute, then remove from heat and garnish with cilantro.

Prepare the Honey Balsamic Glaze:

Easy Brown Sugar Glazed Pork Chops

brown sugar, packed

garlic powder

paprika

tsp pepper

cooking spray

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Prepare a 13 x 9 inch pan with tinfoil and cooking spray. Set aside.

In a bowl combine the brown sugar, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.

Remove the pork chops from their package, wash and thoroughly dry.

Rub the brown sugar mixture all over both sides of dry the pork chops. Use all of the spice mixture.

Bake for 30-35 minutes.

After 15 minutes flip pork chops over and adjust a bit in the glaze.

Remove the pork chops from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
