caster sugar

cloves

cinnamon

star anise

ginger(peeled)

milliliters brandy,rum, amaretto

<p>Put the orange slices, wine, sugar, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and ginger in a large pan. Warm gently for 10-15 mins, being careful not to let the mixture boil. Add the alcohol, pour into glasses and serve warm.</p>

500 gr. Hackfleisch gemischt

300 ml. Gemüsebrühe

500 ml. Glühwein

pack Tomaten passiert

Zwiebeln

Karotten

stück Sellerie

Knoblauchzehen

Lorbeerblätter

Kartoffel

Salz, Pfeffer

Oregano, Majoran, Thymian

Olivenöl

Das Hackfleisch mit den kleingewürfelten Zwiebeln in etwas Olivenöl krümelig braten.
Gemüsebrühe angiessen, Lorbeerblätter, Knoblauch und Gewürze dazugeben, 
Karotten, Sellerie und Kartoffel ganz klein würfeln oder reiben und das Ganze ca.15 min. köcheln lassen.
Nun die passierten Tomaten und den Glühwein dazugiessen und das Ganze noch mal 10 -15 min. köcheln lassen

Nun den Glühwein und die passierten Tomaten zufügen und alles noch mal 10 Min. bei kleiner Hitze weiter köcheln lassen.

Die Fleischsosse über Nudeln geben und mit Parmesankäse bestreut servieren.

Tip: Diese Fleischsosse eignet sich auch hervorragend zu Lasagne.

cardamom pods

tsp allspice ((9 berries))

stars anise

Demerara sugar (or other sweetener of your choice)

orange (to garnish)

Bruise your cardamom pods with the back of your knife. Put all ingredients except of sugar in a pot over medium low heat. Before it starts to boil, remove from heat and add sugar. Let sit for up to 30 minutes, strain and serve. To garnish, put a few orange slices in a mug along with a cinnamon stick.

To keep the mulled wine warm for a longer time put your mulled wine on a really low heat and pour it into glasses as your guests arrive. Enjoy!
