Blend the cashews and the water in a high-powered blender until very smooth (at least 1-2 minutes).

Blend in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, honey, and salt. Taste and adjust.

Yum I make something quite similar and I just bought too large a jug of raw cashews from Costco so a good way to use those. Also nice while pregnant too.

Love your recipe. I originally printed it but went looking for it again just so I don't have to dig it out. 
I added black pepper just to up the benefits of the turmeric for absorption in order to help boost my immune system, you really don't taste it.  I have also switched out the cinnamon with cardamom sometimes to help with stomach issues  although I know that's what the ginger also does. I get a similar drink at a restaurant near me and tastes almost the exact same as your recipe but they use the cardamom instead.

Turmeric Golden Milk Recipe

½ cups unsweetened and full fat almond or coconut milk

cinnamon cinnamon (more as garnish at the end)

fresh turmeric (sliced turmeric

ginger (sliced or ½ teaspoon ground ginger)

coconut oil

black pepper

maple syrup or honey (or more to taste)

Place milk, cinnamon stick, turmeric, ginger, coconut oil, and black pepper in a small saucepan.

Cook, stirring frequently, until warm but not boiling.

Give it a taste and add in your sweetener.

If you used fresh turmeric and ginger, strain it to your cups. If not, divide it in two mugs.

If preferred, sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Serve.
