Pear, Gorgonzola and Caramelised Pecans with Honey Apple Dressing

kale (de-stemmed,

pear (sliced thinly)

cranberries

Gorgonzola cheese (crumbled)

apple cider vinegar

black pepper

In a bowl, place the salad greens. Add the pear slices, cranberries, candied pecans and gorogonzola cheese on top - if you'd like, toss the toppings together in a bowl first then sprinkle on top of greens.

Salad

Whisk the ingredients together and pour over the salad.

Easy Gorgonzola Salad Recipe

Crumble 1/2 cup of Gorgonzola cheese into small, bite-sized pieces.

Step 3

Toast 1/4 cup of walnuts or pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 4

In a large salad bowl, add the dried salad greens, crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, toasted nuts, and 1/4 cup of dried cranberries.

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and salt and pepper to taste.
