This is so easy to make and tastes so good and I really like this recipe for cooking it in the slow cooker. Definitely a keeper!

Healthy White Chicken Chili Crockpot Recipe

2.5 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

Great Northern Beans, drained

8 oz cans Diced Green Chilies

Very large yellow Onion (diced)

Tbl Garlic, (minced)

tsp Cumin

tsp Chili Powder

tsp White Pepper

Tbl Coarse Real Salt *

Cups Chicken Broth

Cup Coconut Milk * or regular milk

Cup Arrowroot Starch *

Cup Water

Cilantro (chopped)

Place the chicken thighs, beans, chilies, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, pepper, salt, chicken broth, and coconut milk in a crock pot. Cook on high for 5-6 hours, or until chicken is very tender.

Remove the chicken and place in a bowl. Lightly shred with a fork.

Place the arrowroot starch in a small bowl and slowly whisk in the 1/2 C. water to make a smooth, lump-free mixture. Stir the mixture into the chili in the crock pot.

Add the chicken back into the chili and stir to distribute. Let cook for another 30 minutes. Soup should thicken up.

Add the cilantro to the soup just before serving and check the seasonings, adding more salt or pepper if desired. If you want the soup to be a little thinner, add more chicken broth or coconut milk until desired consistency is achieved.

This was excellent! I made this chili this weekend, with slight changes. I love the chicken with the beans, and the touch of cilantro and lime. We served this with tortilla chips, then guacamole one night as well. Thanks for the recipe! It will be a regular in our recipe stash.

I made this for dinner and it was really good!  I didn't realize it was 3 cans of beans instead of 2, but it still came out really good!

This was pretty good,I think I will try it with regular milk once. I think the addition of jalapenos might be beneficial. I would also halve the recipe next time,we have a lot of leftovers.

Very good flavor! Personally would use a little less chicken. I like a thicker soup, so I would use less of the chicken broth too.

REALLY YUMMY!   I made this and took it to work and 8 people asked me for the recipe, and they were all surprised to see how clean the ingredients were.  This soup freezes really well.  Sometimes I make a batch, divide it into 2 and freeze for quick and easy meals.

This is a yummy chicken chili recipe. The <span class="tasty-link" data-tasty-link-href="https://amzn.to/2CuN4vX">coconut milk</span> is a very nice touch and makes for a creamy texture. I also added a can of Rotel diced tomatoes. I didn't thicken with starch, but took out about one cup of the liquid (beans included) and pureed in my blender and then put back into the crockpot and thickened to a nice  texture.

Only used 12oz green chilies and drained the beans but didn't rinse. Squeeze of lime into your bowl + sour cream + cilantro are all mandatory, and it is bomb!

Had a friend make this for me and it is great because it is a lighter version of chili, not heavy.

Used left-over thanksgiving turkey instead of chicken and omitted the milk while cooking. Added sour cream, cilantro and crushed tortilla chips as toppings. Very easy and scrumptious!

Dynamite Lumpia will give you an explosion of cheesy, spicy, and crunchy goodness in every bite. These quick, easy, and budget-friendly appetizers made using only 3 ingredients are a blast!

Dynamite Lumpia Recipe

spring roll wrappers (6 inches)

oil (for frying)

Slice the green chilis lengthwise in the middle but not all the way through. Make sure to leave the stem intact. Using a small spoon, remove the seeds.  Set aside.

Slice the cheese into1/2 inch thickness crosswise, then cut each slice into two. Stuff them inside the green chilis.

In a small bowl, add the cornstarch and water and mix until well blended.

To wrap, arrange the spring roll wrapper on a clean flat working surface in a diamond position. Place the stuffed pepper in the center of the wrapper with the stem outside of the wrapper. Fold the bottom and left sides over the chili.

Roll tightly and seal by brushing the ends with the cornstarch-water mixture.  Repeat with the remaining stuffed chilis.

Heat oil in a pot or pan and deep fry the dynamite rolls over medium heat until golden brown and crispy. Remove from heat and place them on a wire rack or colander set over paper towels.

Let them cool down a bit and serve with your fave dipping sauce!

CHEESY DYNAMITE LUMPIA

Try this Cansi recipe, a hearty and comforting Ilonggo sour soup with tender beef shanks, unripe jackfruit, batwan, and chilis made extra tasty with annatto seeds.

Cansi - Authentic Ilonggo Recipe

beef shanks

tbsp rock salt

onion

lemongrass

salt (to taste)

5-6 pcs batwan

tbsp annatto seeds

unripe jackfruit (sliced)

pcs green chilis

pcs red chilis

Place beef shanks in a pot and add water and salt. Cover and cook over high heat and bring to a rolling boil.

Drain the water from the pot. Rinse the meat and the pot.

Return the meat to the pot and add enough water to cover the meat. Cover and bring to a boil over low heat.

Remove the cover and add onion, lemongrass, and salt to taste. Cover and simmer until beef is fork-tender.

Add the batwan, cover the pot again and cook until soft.

Place annatto seeds in a small fine-mesh sieve/ strainer. Submerge it into the pot and press to release the color.

Add unripe langka and cook until tender. Add chilis and simmer for about 3 mins.

Remove from heat and serve while piping hot.

As a native Bacolodnon Cansi is my favorite ilonggo dish. But I want to know if it’s a typographical error when you mentioned in the second part of the paragraph that it’s a staple in ilocos region, since batuan can only be found in panay areas. Thank you. I always get recipes from your site…🥰
