This Oven-Baked Parmesan Grouper Fillet recipe is a delicious low-calorie home run! Topped with tangy sour cream and nutty parmesan cheese, these baked fish fillets take only 20 minutes from start to finish. Great taste in less time! 

Oven-Baked Parmesan Grouper Fillets Recipe- Quick and Easy

lbs grouper fillets (skinless fillets,

sour cream

Parmesan cheese

lemon

lemon juice

onion powder

hot sauce (I used Tabasco sauce)

paprika

tsp kosher salt

tsp black pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Rinse the fillets and dry them with a paper towel.

Place the fillets in a single layer in a greased baking dish or on a baking sheet. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the fillets.

Combine the sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice and zest, onion powder, and Tabasco in a small bowl and mix well.

Top each fillet with the sour cream mixture and spread out to cover the top. Sprinkle paprika on the top.

Bake for 15-20 minutes for fillets 1-inch thick. If the fillets are thicker or thinner, it will take more or less time for the fish to cook.

Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley and serve immediately.

red wine vinegar

red onion, finely chopped

Heat grill pan or nonstick skillet over high heat. Spray the pan with cooking spray. Place fish on grill, season with salt and pepper and cook 5 minutes on each side, until opaque.

Arrange lettuce leaves on a platter. Place jalapeno in a food processor with cilantro, mint, mustard and vinegar. Turn processor on and stream in oil. Season sauce with salt and pepper.

Take the fish off grill and place on a serving plate. Break the fish into chunks and squeeze lime juice over fish. Add a few dashes hot sauce to the fish.

Pile fish in lettuce leaves and top with sauce and chopped red onions.

Great for the summer.  I used Italian parsley instead of cilantro.  The hubby who is a meat and potato guy even liked it. I used tilapia.

Wow...we loved this recipe. We have had this 4 times now. Tried it once with chicken and it was yummy but the tilapia is a hit. This will be a regular on our menu!!

Good go-to fish recipe although the type of fish you use does change how good it turns out. I recommend using a tilapia.

I made this for my husband who is from CA and loves fish tacos. So sorry Rachael, but he said these were the worst fish tacos he ever had!

Too bad, but this one was just not a hit in my household.

Grilled Fish Tacos with Lime Slaw

coleslaw mix

red onion, thinly sliced

cilantro, Mexican crema and salsa verde,

Toss the slaw mix, red onion, lime juice, sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a large bowl; set aside.

Preheat a grill to medium. Oil the grates. Mix the cayenne with 1/2 teaspoon salt in a small bowl; rub all over the fish. Grill until well marked on the bottom and the fish releases easily from the grill, about 6 minutes. Flip and grill until cooked through, 4 to 6 more minutes. Transfer to a cutting board and slice or flake the fish. 

Meanwhile, wrap the tortillas in foil and warm on the grill, about 4 minutes. 

Divide the fish among the warm tortillas. Top with the slaw, cilantro, crema and salsa verde. Serve with lime wedges.

Moist and flaky, this pan fried grouper with lemon butter is delicious with some veggies on the side or as is. Butter sauce is rich and accompanies the fish so well.
