Start out by making a batch of my favorite one bowl brownies. Cut the brownies into nine squares, dip through chocolate, add a jumbo candy eye, and then decorate with some lines of frosting.&nbsp;Simple as that.

Hocus Pocus Spellbook Brownies

(1/2 cup) salted butter, melted

sugar

vanilla extract

eggs

cocoa powder

all-purpose flour

instant coffee granules

semi-sweet chocolate chips ((optional))

semi-sweet or milk chocolate, chopped

coconut oil

activated charcoal

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs until combined. Add the cocoa powder, flour, and coffee and stir until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips, if using. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the brownies are just set. Let cool and then cut into 9 bars. Freeze for 15 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, in a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave on high for 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until melted. Let cool 10 minutes. Dip each frozen brownie into the melted chocolate, using a fork to toss the brownie in the chocolate to coat. Remove and allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Repeat with the remaining brownies. Freeze for 10 minutes. 4. In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, black dye (or charcoal), and 1 tablespoon water until combined, adding water if needed to thin. Add the frosting to a ziplock bag and snip a small portion of the corner off the bag. Remove the brownies from the freezer. Add a dot of frosting to each brownie and attach a candy eye. Decorate the spell books as desired. Let the frosting dry and then serve, or keep in and airtight container in a cool place for up to 4 days.

Halloween Cream Cheese Brownies

(26 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder

(118 ml) boiling water

(44 grams) semisweet chocolate chips

(½ stick / 56 grams) unsalted butter, melted

(160 ml) vegetable oil

(450 grams) Domino® Golden Sugar

(210 grams) all-purpose flour

(5 grams) kosher salt

(227 grams) cream cheese, room temperature

(50 grams) Domino® Golden Sugar

egg, room temperature

(2 ml) vanilla extract

Orange gel food coloring

Candy eyeballs

Halloween sprinkles

Frosting or decorating icing to “glue” eyeballs

Preheat oven to 350º F (180º C). Line a 13 by 9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some to hang over edges of the pan for easing removal of baked brownies. Set aside

Whisk cocoa powder and boiling water together in large bowl until smooth. Add chocolate chips and whisk until chocolate is melted. Whisk in melted butter and oil. (Mixture may look curdled.) Add eggs, yolks, and vanilla and continue to whisk until smooth and well combined. Whisk in sugar until fully incorporated. Add flour and salt and mix with rubber spatula until combined

Scrape batter into prepared pan, reserving ¼ cup of the batter to swirl on top with the cream cheese mixture. Set aside while you prepare the cream cheese mixture.

Combine cream cheese and sugar in a medium-sized bowl. Use a stand mixer or hand mixer to beat until creamy. Stir in egg and vanilla extract. Stir until well-combined. Add 5-10 drops orange gel food coloring and mix until evenly combined.

Dollop the cream cheese mixture over prepared brownie batter then dollop reserved brownies batter to fill in some of the spaces next to the cream cheese dollops. Use a knife to swirl the brownie and cream cheese mixture together, being careful not to swirl too much, otherwise you’ll lose the beautiful swirl pattern

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until center is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean with a few fudgy crumbs

Using parchment paper overhang, lift brownies from the pan. Return brownies to the wire rack and let cool completely, about 1 hour

Optional: Decorate brownies with candy eyeballs by sprinkling them on top of the brownies or by “gluing” them to the brownies using a small amount of frosting or decorating icing dabbed on the back, then press gently onto the brownies. Sprinkle with festive Halloween sprinkles

Cut into 2-inch squares and serve

Halloween Brownies

oz Brownie Mix ((1 box) I used Ghirardelli Double Chocolate)

water

oz white chocolate ((1 bar) I used Ghirardelli brand)

oz cream cheese (softened)

butter

vanilla

Halloween oreos (chopped)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line loaf pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, stir brownie mix together with eggs, water and oil according to package directions. Pour half into prepared loaf pan. Unwrap white chocolate bar and place in the center.

Spread remaining brownie batter overtop. Bake 60-75 minutes or until cooked thoroughly. Cool 20-30 minutes before removing completely.

For the frosting, whip cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Spread over top of loaf. Top with crushed oreos. Slice into pieces and serve.

These Mummy Brownies are delicious, easy to make, and my kids couldn&#x27;t stop raving about them!

Mummy Halloween Brownies

oz white chocolate melts

candy eyeballs

Bake brownies according to recipe (or package directions) and place in the freezer to cool.

While brownies are cooling, pour melting chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl.

Heat white chocolate melts in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each, until they are completely melted.

Pour melted chocolate into a small ziplock bag and cut a small opening in one of the corners.

Cut brownies into 12 rectangles.

Squeeze melted chocolate out of the ziplock and onto brownies in a back and forth zig-zag motion.

Immediately place eyeballs onto melted chocolate.

Put finished mummies in the fridge to set.

These Halloween Brownies have a fun layer of orange colored cream cheese. This cheesecake brownies recipe makes delicious Halloween treats!

Cheesecake Halloween Brownies

cream cheese (room temperature)

flour

egg (room temperature)

orange gel food coloring

unsalted butter

semi-sweet chocolate bar (chopped)

eggs (room temperature)

egg yolk (room temperature)

baking powder

salt

water (room temperature)

chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8x8 baking dish or pan with cooking spray and set aside.

Start with the cream cheese layer. In a medium bowl, use an electric hand mixer on high speed to beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and flour until smooth.

Add the egg, vanilla, and orange food coloring, and continue beating until smooth and well-combined. Set the mixture aside.

Make the brownie batter. To a large mixing bowl, add the warm melted butter and chopped chocolate. Stir with a spatula or wooden spoon until smooth. (The warm butter should melt the chocolate, but if it’s resisting, heat the chocolate in the microwave for 30-second increments. Or, if the bowl is glass, you can place it over a pot of simmering water and stir.)

Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth. Add the sugar, eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla, and continue stirring until combined.

Pour in the flour, baking powder, and salt, and stir. The batter will be thick, but it should be pretty smooth.

Reserve one half cup of brownie batter, then pour the remaining batter into the 8x8 dish. Smooth it out evenly with a spatula or spoon.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and use a silicone spatula to smooth into an even layer.

Stir 2 tablespoons of water into the reserved brownie batter to thin it out slightly, then drop tablespoonfuls on top of the cream cheese layer.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.

Use a toothpick or wooden skewer to swirl the cream cheese and brownie batter together.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are baked but the center is slightly wobbly.

Rest brownies in the pan, on the counter or a metal cooling rack, for 30-45 minutes, then place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until you are ready to serve.

You can serve the brownies chilled, at room temperature, or warm.

Scream cheese brownies are a great way to transform your regular brownies into a Halloween treat.

Mix by hand your favorite brownie mix. Spread ½ of the brownie mixture in 9x13 inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Mix cream cheese, butter, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and flour and mix well. Add orange food coloring to desired color. Spread cream cheese mixture on top. Drop remaining brownie batter on top and pull a knife through. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with chocolate icing when cool if desired.
