Peanut Butter Fudge-Filled Chocolate Cauldron Pops

peanut butter fudge:

white chips

peanut butter chips

salt

peanut butter

decoration:

chocolate

tubes Wilton Green Slime Sparkle Gel

candy sprinkles (spiders, eyeballs, bones, skulls, bubbles, etc.)

Melt white and peanut butter chips in microwave for 30 second increments stirring after each.

Pour into cake pops mold.

Insert lollipop stick.

Freeze for 20 minutes.

Un-mold.

Set aside for at least 30 minutes.

Dip in melted and tempered semi-sweet chocolate. (If you use candy melts instead, you must allow them to cool to about 91 degrees so that they don&#039;t melt the fudge.)

Add a thin rope of modeling chocolate around the top of each pop.

Decorate with green slime sparkle gel and candy sprinkles.

Try an eerie twist on the traditional candy apple for a delicious Halloween treat.

"Poison" Candy Apples

apples

wooden candy apple sticks

c. sugar

corn syrup

black gel paste food coloring

Wash and dry apples thoroughly. Place on a baking sheet and poke firmly with dowels. Line a second baking sheet with buttered parchment paper, and set aside.

Place a candy thermometer in a medium saucepan and add sugar, 3/4 cups water, and corn syrup. Place over medium heat; whisk until sugar is dissolved. Let the temperature rise without stirring until it reaches the hard-crack mark at 310 degrees F. Remove pan from heat. Carefully remove thermometer, and add food coloring.

Swirl pan to mix in the color completely. Swipe and twirl the apple through the candy, shake off excess, and place on buttered baking sheet. Repeat with remaining apples.
