Hamburger Patty Recipe

lb Ground Sirloin

lb Ground Pork

Cup Bread Crumbs

Cloves Garlic (Minced)

Salt

tsp Oregano

tsp Black Pepper

Add Ground Sirloin, Ground Pork, Bread Crumbs, Egg, Garlic, Salt, Oregano, and Pepper to a large bowl.  Using your hands or a Stand Mixer, mix ingredients until just combined. Do not over mix.

Separate mixture into 6 balls for 1/3lb burgers, 8 for 1/4lb burgers.

Using your hands shape each ball into a patty by pressing and shaping into a circle

Place patty on parchment paper

Set Air Fryer to 360 Degrees and cook according to weight of burger.1/4 lb 360 Degrees 6-7 Minutes Flip over cook 5-6 minutes more1/3 lb360 Degrees 8-9 Minutes Flip over cook 6-8 minutes more1/2 lb 360 Degrees 11-12 Minutes Flip over cook 9-11 minutes more

Divide your ground beef evenly into 4 sections.

Roll the divided ground beef into 4 balls, smoothing out any rough edges and then place on a large plate.

Press the hamburger balls down until the thickness is about 3/4 inches thick.

With your finger tips, gently press a well into the centers of the hamburger patties, pressing only about half way down the middle of the patties.

Mix together the spices in a small bowl.

Sprinkle seasoning on patties and cook using your preferred cooking method.

Pre-heat the grill to medium heat for 5 minutes.

Cook the first side for 4 minutes.

Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Place patties inside air fryer and cook for 5 minutes.

After a total of 10 minutes, remove from the air fryer and cover with aluminum foil and let rest for 5 minutes. This will yield a medium burger.

This Hamburger Patty Recipe is super simple yet flavorful. Once you make this simple burger recipe for the first time, you won&#39;t be able to go back to pre-made frozen patties. The best part is you likely have all the ingredients in your kitchen already!

Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Worcestershire sauce

Tablespooons brown sugar

Prepare a large plate or small baking sheet with two pieces of parchment or wax paper. Set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and onion powder.

Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Pour the seasoning mixture over the beef.

Using your hands (I like to wear gloves), gently combine the meat and seasoning mixture.

Roughly divide the meat into six portions or use a kitchen scale to weigh out 6 5.3-ounce portions. Use your hands to gently press the meat into a round patty. Make a small well in the center. Burgers shrink when cooked, so make the patty larger than your buns. Repeat and place the patties on the prepared plate or baking sheet. Use the paper in between layers to prevent the burgers from sticking together.

I prefer to cook my burgers on the stovetop or griddle. See the section below for other cooking methods. Heat a large stainless steel skillet over medium-high heat. Add about 1 Tablespoon of neutral oil to the pan. Place 1-2 burgers in the skillet. Use a burger press to smash the burger down if desired. Fry for 2-3 minutes.

Flip the burger and fry for another 2 minutes, depending on thickness and desired doneness. Add the cheese and cover the pan for about 30 seconds to melt it. Remove from the heat immediately and serve.
