White Trash Hash

vegetable oil

lb. frozen hash browns (not thawed)

onion,

bell pepper, chopped

Kosher salt

black pepper

garlic,

Sliced pickled jalapeños

c. shredded Monterey Jack

eggs

chives,

Italian sausage,

tbsp. all-purpose flour

c. whole milk

cayenne pepper

I found it better to cook the eggs separately. Also the cast Iron isn't necessary. So good ^_^

Terrible recipe. No direction as to what heat setting to be at, eggs taking forever to cook. Just all out terrible. Save time and do you and your family a favor and just go out to breakfast

Didn't use a cast iron and it still turned out amazing!! So yummy n filling! Family loved it

This White Trash Hash Is The Ultimate At Home Brunch

I love Corned Beef Veggie Hash with eggs for breakfast or brunch. Adding chopped veggies makes it even healthier!

Corned Beef Veggie Hash

olive oil

onion (finely chopped (about 1 cup))

potatoes

carrots

green bell pepper

garlic powder

sweet paprika

corned beef

Garlic powder is ground, dehydrated garlic. It is a very common seasoning. Applications include pasta, pizza, and grilled chicken. Garlic salt is simply salt plus garlic powder. (Pre-made products usually include an anti-caking agent.) Garlic powder is a common component of spice mix. It is also a common component of seasoned salt.

Onion

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat.

Add the onion, bell pepper and carrots and cook 5 minutes, until the onions are translucent and the veggies are tender.

Mix in the potatoes, season with salt, garlic powder, paprika and black pepper.

Cover and cook until golden, stirring about 5 to 7 minutes.

Add the corned beef and press down so it’s in a single layer and continue to cook uncovered until the bottom is nicely browned, stirring after a few minutes.

Adjust salt to taste.

Serve with fried or poached eggs for breakfast.

This was delicious and filling. Next time I will use either diced canned potatoes or frozen hash brown potatoes.

Soooo good😋! I used one sandwich slice of Boarshead Prime Rib chopped in place of corned beef…..soft boiled 2 eggs placed on top…sated my appetite for5 hours til lunch☺️☺️

This was so good that I went out and bought another corned beef brisket to make the hash for brunch next weekend.  Also, the leftovers are great as a breakfast burrito.
