This casserole is perfect for brunch or a great side dish for your holiday meal.

Simply Potatoes Cheesy Hash Browns Recipe

onions

bacon (crumbled)

butter

sour cream

cream of chicken soup

celery salt

salt

garlic powder

hash browns

½ cups shredded Colby Jack

Thaw the hash browns. I found it easiest to place a colander on a plate overnight in the fridge. Pat dry to remove as much excess water as possible.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick spray. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, added chopped onion, bacon, melted butter, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup. Add the seasonings, mix well.

Add the thawed hash browns into the creamy sauce and mix until completely coated.

Add the cheese and mix until all ingredients are incorporated.

Spoon into the prepared baking dish. Spread into an even layer. Bake in a preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes uncovered.

Easy, cheesy and delicious this is the BEST side dish for any meal!

Cracker Barrel Cheesy Potatoes

frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed)

cheddar cheese (shredded)

condensed cream of chicken soup (fat free is delicious!)

sour cream (low fat works here)

yellow onion (finely chopped)

tbsp butter

black pepper

green onions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray 9x13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray or coat with butter.

In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Mix gently and pour into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven - no need to cover or top with foil. Bake until bubbly and brown, about 35 minutes.
