These Healthy Two-Person Berry Crumbles are fresh, juicy, and perfectly sweet. Incredibly easy to make using 9 wholesome ingredients! Vegan, Gluten-Free, &amp; Oil-Free.

Healthy Two Person Berry Crumbles

natural almond or cashew butter

maple syrup

(26 g) blanched almond flour

arrowroot powder

(40 g) + 3 tablespoons rolled oats

baking powder

salt

lemon juice

vanilla extract (optional)

Prep

Preheat the oven to 350F and grease or lightly spray two 4&#8243; oven-safe ramekins.

Make the Crumble: 

add the nut butter and maple syrup to a medium bowl and mix until combined. Then, add the almond flour, arrowroot, oats, baking powder, and salt. Use a spatula to work the dry ingredients into the wet, until a firm ball forms &#8211; you may need to switch to your hands.

First Bake: 

take 1/2 of the crumble mixture, divide it in half, and press each &#8220;quarter&#8221; into the base of the ramekins. Place the ramekins in the oven for 10 minutes, while you prepare the berry filling.

Berry Filling: 

add the berries, maple syrup, lemon juice, optional vanilla, arrowroot, and salt together to a small bowl; Mix well. Once the arrowroot powder has dissolved, use a fork to mash around half of the berries to create a thicker, more jam-like filling. Set Aside.

Second Bake: 

remove the ramekins from the oven and carefully divide the berry filling between each one. Use your hands to crumble the remaining &#8220;dough&#8221; over the top of each ramekin. Return the ramekins to the top rack of the oven this time and bake for 18-20 minutes, until the crumble is golden and the berries are bubbly.

Serve: 

Serve warm, as-is, topped with ice cream/whipped cream, or as desired.

My partner and I made this to celebrate Valentine's Day and paired it with vanilla ice cream. This recipe blew us away! It was super delicious but required minimal effort, so we're definitely going to be making this often

Delicious! I substituted apple sauce for the nut butter and it turned out great.

So simple to make, even as an indulgent but wholesome breakfast. I used cherries because they're in season right now, and paired my crumble with a homemade chocolate "nice" cream because who doesn't love a chocolate + cherry combo? :)

This yummy Berry Crumble has a juicy berry filling and crisp crumble topping plus it's gluten-free, sugar-free, and made with only 7 healthy ingredients!

Healthy Berry Crumble 

Almond Flour (not Almond Meal)

Rolled Oats

Salt

Natural Almond Butter*

Maple Syrup

tbsp Maple Syrup

Lemon

½ tsp Vanilla Extract

Preheat the oven to 350F and line a 8&#215;8&#8243; baking tin with parchment paper.

Toss the fresh or frozen Berries, Maple Syrup, Lemon Juice, and Vanilla Extract together in a large bowl, then spread this mixture evenly across the bottom of your baking tin.

Next, add the Almond Butter, Maple Syrup, and Salt to the same bowl (no need to rinse) and mix until evenly combined. Add the Almond Flour, and Oats to the bowl, then fold into the wet mixture. Stir well until no dry clumps are left – the mixture should be pretty thick!

Use your hands to crumble the wet dough over the top of the berry mixture. It helps to have your hands slightly moist for this step!

Bake for 30-32 minutes, or until the Crumb Topping is crisp and slightly browned. (If you used frozen fruit instead of fresh you may need an extra 5-10 minutes in the oven, as it holds more moisture). Let sit for 10 minutes to thicken, then serve warm. Leftovers will last at room temperature for up to 4 days or in the fridge for about a week.

The most simple and delicious berry crumble ever!

Love, love love this recipe. All I had was Cassava flour and it worked well. My body can't handle cane sugar so I'm happy to find a recipe with natural ingredients. It's yummy!

IMy husband loves blackberry anything and this hit the spot.  I did double the filling and added 2TBS cornstarch for a less runny filling.  The crumble is so delicious and the filling is the perfect sweet.  I love that there is no butter,no coconut and no sugar in the recipe.  This is a keeper.  Thanks so much Caitlin!

I wanted to bring a healthy dessert to a dinner party last night and found this recipe! OMG it was delicious! Everyone loved it. Will be making again for sure. My almond butter is super smooth so my crumble wasn't quite thick enough - I added more oats and almond flour. I will try this as an apple crumble some day as well.

I really liked this!  Trying to stay away from added sugars and high saturated fats! The almond butter adds a great richness and creaminess.  We topped ours with non fat icelandic vanilla yogurt which has less sugar.  It was a delightful.

This Low Calorie Berry Crumble is just 121 calories and you can use a mix of berries, or just choose your favorites. You can even use the frozen berry mixture you get at the grocery store to make this recipe!Special Tip: I recommend quartering the strawberries if you add them in with the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries so they are all closer to the same size.

Low Calorie Berry Crumble

zero calorie all natural sweetener (or coconut sugar)

flour (all-purpose

vanilla extract

oats old fashioned (or quick oats)

coconut oil (or butter)

Preheat

Pulse

Combine the oatmeal, flour and sugar, to a food processor, and pulse until the oats are a fine flour.

Combine

To a large bowl, combine the berry crumble filling.

Mix together and then add the filling to a pie pan or 9×9 baking dish.

To the same bowl (no need to wipe out) combine the oats mixture and coconut oil. Mix with your fingers until you can clump together.

Add the crumble topping to the top of the berries.

Bake

Bake for 60 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.

Serve

Remove from the oven and let rest for 30 minutes before serving.

Swap

Use coconut oil instead of butter in the Berry Crumble Topping.

Vegan Berry Crumble:

Use Gluten-free oats, and Gluten-free flour in the Berry Crumble Topping.
