These crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are golden and juicy, so easy to make and perfect for weeknight cooking!

Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

chicken tenders ((1 1/4 lbs))

eggs (beaten)

salt

black pepper (to taste)

seasoned breadcrumbs*

seasoned panko*

olive oil spray

lemon wedges (for serving)

Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Place egg in a shallow bowl. In a second shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs and panko.

Dip chicken in the egg, then into the breadcrumb mixture and shake off excess and place on a large dish or cutting board. Spray both sides of the chicken generously with oil.

Preheat air fryer to 400F.

In batches, cook the chicken 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until the chicken is cooked through and crispy and golden on the outside. Serve with lemon wedges.

Easy Air Fryer Parmesan Breaded Fried Chicken Tenders (Strips)

skinless, chicken breast

cheese

breadcrumbs (You can use any breadcrumbs (Italian Seasoned, panko, etc.))

all-purpose flour

Italian Seasoning

salt and pepper

cooking oil spray (I used olive oil)

Place the breadcrumbs, eggs, and flour in separate bowls.

Add the grated parmesan, Italian Seasoning, salt and pepper to taste to the bowl with the breadcrumbs. Stir.

Coat the sliced chicken breasts in flour, then egg, and then the breadcrumbs.

Spray both sides of the chicken tenders with cooking oil.

Add the chicken tenders to the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 minutes on 400 degrees.

Open the basket and flip the tenders. Cook for an additional 6 to 8 minutes or until the chicken tenders are crisp. Exact cook time will vary based on the air fryer brand that you use. Check in&nbsp;on the tenders to monitor the appropriate cook time necessary.

Air Fryer Crispy Parmesan Breaded Chicken Tenders

These crispy and healthy baked chicken tenders are baked in the oven instead of fried. They're breaded in panko mixed with seasoning and oil, then baked to make a super crispy coating. Plus, they're kid approved!

Healthy Chicken Strips

salt, divided

eggs

Panko breadcrumbs,

sweet paprika

garlic powder

avocado oil oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray or brush lightly with oil.

Mix all-purpose flour with 1/4 teaspoon salt in a shallow dish.

Beat eggs in a second shallow dish. Set next to the flour.

Stir breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt in a third shallow dish. Drizzle oil over the breadcrumb mixture and then mix thoroughly with a fork until all of the oil and spice coats the breadcrumbs.  Set to the side of the egg mixture.

Use one hand for dry ingredients and one for wet ingredients while dredging the tenders. Dip a chicken tender in the flour mixture, turning to coat completely. Dip into the eggs, coating completely.  Press into the breadcrumb mixture, turning to coat completely.  Set on the prepared baking sheet. Continue with the remaining tenders one at a time. Discard any left-over dredging mixtures.

Transfer the baking sheet of breaded tenders into the oven and bake until the chicken is cooked through, 22 to 25 minutes.

These chicken tenders were amazing. The trick to mix the oil with the breadcrumbs made the chicken tenders extremely crunchy. I will definitely make these again.
