Healthy peach crisp is an easy, gluten-free dessert recipe using oats, almond flour, and fresh peaches. This naturally vegan dessert will be the best part of your summer picnics!

Healthy Peach Crisp

peaches, peeled + sliced

Tbsp arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)

tsp vanilla

lemon juice

Tbsp coconut sugar

tsp nutmeg

cup rolled oats (certified gluten free if necessary)

cup almond flour

sugar

tsp salt

cinnamon

almond butter

coconut oil

Preheat oven to 350F and prepare dish with nonstick spray (I used an 8&#215;11 dish but a similar size baking dish or skillet will work! 9&#215;9 or 8&#215;8 pan)

Peel your peaches. I used this method, but can also use a vegetable peeler.

In a bowl, mix together sliced peaches, arrowroot powder, vanilla, lemon, coconut sugar, and nutmeg until completely coated.

While peaches sit, prepare crumble topping by mixing together oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, salt. and cinnamon.

Add in almond butter, coconut oil, and vanilla, and using fork or hand, mix well until can pinch together and it sticks.

Pour peaches into dish and sprinkle crumble topping over top. Pat down.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Let rest at least 15 minutes before serving.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, and store remainder in fridge.

Made this for my parents and then they begged me to make it again when they had friends coming over. The perfect summer dessert!

Healthy Easy Peach Crisp with Oatmeal

5-6 fresh medium ripe peaches (diced)

cornstarch

vanilla extract

cinnamon (divided)

oats

oat flour*

almonds

honey

coconut oil (melted)

Preheat the oven to 350°F, and lightly coat an 8x8 inch square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, mix together the diced peaches, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon until thoroughly combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, oat flour, almonds and remaining cinnamon. Add in the honey and coconut oil, mixing until completely incorporated.

Spread the peach mixture into the prepared pan. Evenly sprinkle the oat mixture on top so that the entire surface is covered.

Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the peach juice is bubbling and the oat mixture is lightly golden and crunchy. Cool completely to room temperature. For best results, let the crumble rest for 2 hours at room temperature before serving to allow juices to thicken.

It can be tough to find dairy free recipes for dessert. This one was perfect for me! I was looking for a recipe to use the peaches we got from a farmers market, and it turned out great! We enjoyed it with dairy free ice cream

OOh how I love crumbles!!  And peaches and almond??  I'd say they are meant to be together.  That coconut oil is just a bonus!!  Love, love, did I mention love??  this recipe!

Peach Crumble Recipe

This Healthy Peach Crisp recipe is a delicious dessert featuring a crunchy oat crumble topping and juicy peaches. This easy-to-make treat is a crowd-pleaser and perfect for all occasions.

peaches

maple syrup

vanilla

almond flour

pecans

coconut sugar

½ tsp fine sea salt

butter oil oil

Preheat your oven to 375° and grease an 11 x 8 baking dish.

Place the filling ingredients into the greased baking dish and toss well to coat the peaches. Set the dish aside.

Add the oats, almond flour, chopped pecans, coconut sugar, sea salt, and cinnamon to a large mixing bowl. Stir everything well.

Pour the melted butter (or coconut oil), maple syrup, and vanilla over the oat mixture and stir well to coat everything.

Crumble the oat mixture evenly on top of the peaches in the baking dish.

Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. If the top starts to brown too quickly, cover the dish with foil for the remaining time. 

Remove from the oven and cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
