Seared Scallops

lb. large scallops

Easy to make and the garlic was a good recommendation.

It was delicious with a bit of olive oil and A tad  of butter with lemon pepper and fresh squeezed lemon! Sauté Jasmine Rice!

loved it with salt and pepper - everything plus a squeeze of lemon jouce.

I don’t do the sauce at the end and just top this with fresh rosemary or fresh Parsley Tastes great as is. No sauce needed. I usually serve over roasted veggies.

Used garlic rosemary salt, just a little butter and olive oil with a little fresh lemon juice at the end. They were soooooo good!!!! The best part was the scrapings from the pan.

Loved it! Added a little garlic with oil and butter  before adding scallops.  3 min each side cooked perfectly!

Very Easy!  I had never cooked scallops before this, but I will definitely make it again.  Delicious!

How To Sear Scallops Like A Boss — In Less Than 10 Minutes!

Homemade shrimp cooked just like your favorite hibachi restaurant.

Hibachi Shrimp

soy sauce

sesame oil

lemon, juiced

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat then add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes.

Stir in the soy sauce, garlic and sesame oil. Continue stirring and cooking for about 3 more minutes or until the shrimp have turned pink and curled up.

Add the lemon juice to the pan and stir and cook for another 2 minutes or until the sauce has reduced a bit.

Serve with fried rice, freshly chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish if desired.

I used frozen shrimp and my family absolutely loved this! It's going to be in our regular rotation from now on.

Pan Seared Halibut Cheeks

lb Sizzlefish Halibut Cheeks

TBSP Olive Oil, divided (more may be needed for sautéing)

Medium Shallots, about ½ cup finely diced

Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced

½ tsp Herbs de Provence

lemon,

White Wine, we used Chardonnay

Pint Cherry Tomatoes

Salt,

Pepper,

lemon

Lay the halibut cheeks out in a single layer and pat dry with a dry paper towel. Season them with salt and pepper to taste.

In a large sauté pan, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil on medium heat.

Add a few halibut cheeks at a time (working in batches to not overcrowd the pan) to the heated oil and cook until they are browned on one side, then flip and continue to cook on the second side until browned. This will take between 3 – 4 minutes per side.

While the halibut cheeks cook, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil on medium heat in a small saucepan. Add the finely diced shallots and sliced garlic to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes or until the shallots and garlic begin to soften.

Next, add the herbs de Provence to the shallot mixture and cook for about 1 minute stirring. Add the lemon juice and wine to the shallot mixture and cook until the sauce reduces to about half.

Once reduced, add the sliced cherry tomatoes and cook just until they soften.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove the sauce from the heat and serve with the halibut cheeks.

Garnish with fresh lemon zest.
