If you need to switch up your morning green smoothie recipe, this clean green smoothie bowl with kiwis and blueberries is a wonderful option.

Clean Green Smoothie Bowl

spinach ((or other leafy green))

coconut water ((or plain water))

bananas, (sliced and frozen)

avocado

kiwi fruit, (peeled and sliced)

blueberries

coconut flakes

sunflower seeds

Add all smoothie bowl ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until thick and creamy.

Pour into a bowl and top with kiwi, blueberries, coconut and sunflower seeds.

High-powered blender (such

banana slices

Blend

Place the smoothie bowl ingredients in a high-powered blender in the order listed: almond milk, spinach, banana, berries, almond butter, and protein powder (if using). Blend until smooth. The smoothie will be VERY thick. Stop to scrape down the blender a few times as needed and add a little more almond milk if it is completely stuck. Taste and if you would like the smoothie sweeter, add honey or pure maple syrup until your ideal taste is reached.

Scrape into a serving bowl. Add your desired toppings. Enjoy immediately.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie Bowl

plant-based milk (soy, almond, etc)

chocolate protein powder

peanut flour or peanut butter*

Add all ingredients except ice to the pitcher of a blender in the order listed. I start with about 2/3 cup milk, blend and add more liquid as needed. I also use a combination of plant-based milk and water. Blend, scrape sides of blender, add a little more liquid and blend again.

Add about 1 cup ice before adding more liquid. Blend again and then add additional liquid, as needed, about 1 to 2 tablespoons at a time. Be careful not to go overboard! Blend extra liquid in and until smooth and of desired consistency.

Transfer blended mixture to a large bowl and add all of your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Who doesn't love a good chocolate flavored smoothie bowl! Such a keeper!

I haven't tried smoothie bowls yet, but they seem like they would be really good, especially this one! Gonna have to get around to trying one one of these days!
