How To Make Hemp Milk (2-Ingredients)

hemp seeds (hemp hearts)

water

maple syrup, honey dates

vanilla extract

Add hemp seeds, water, and any additional sweeteners to a high-powered blender.

Blend for 1 minute or until the milk is nice and creamy.

Pour the hemp milk into a sealable container (see my favorite in the notes below).

Place it into the fridge and store it for up to 5 days.

This vanilla infused hemp milk is one of my favorite milks. It&#39;s packed with nutrients from the hemp seeds, creamy and has super rich flavor and body from the vanilla.

Simply add all of the nut milk ingredients into your blender and blend on high speed for 2 minutes. There is no need to strain this milk.

If you&#39;re using a nut milk machine like the Nutr, simply press the no heat button and let it blend the milk until complete.

How to Make Hemp Milk

Add hemp seeds, water, salt, and any additional add-ins (optional) to a high-speed blender. Top with lid and cover with a towel to ensure it doesn't splash. Blend for about 1 minute or until the mixture seems well combined.

Scoop out a small sample with a spoon to test flavor/sweetness. Add more dates, salt, or vanilla as needed.

Pour the mixture directly into a serving container. You can strain it, but it doesn’t need it in my experience. If straining, pour over a large mixing bowl or pitcher covered with a nut milk bag, very thin towel, or a clean T-shirt.

Transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate. Will keep in the refrigerator up to 5 days (sometimes more). Enjoy cold (and shake well) for best results. It's delicious straight from the jar, in smoothies, with granola, or in baked goods!

I am so grateful for this easy, quick, and delicious hemp milk recipe! Loaded with omega-3, omega 6 and protein, every sip is good for me. I add an extra date because I like the flavor better.  Because of this recipe, I have ditched oat milk and reduced my almond milk consumption. Thank you!!

One of the best alternative milks I’ve made to date. I altered the recipe slightly by adding vanilla bean powder as opposed to the extract because I prefer the taste. This will be my go to milk from now on!!

MB, this is a great recipe!  FYI, I taste my hemp hearts first.  Even fresh ones have a mild "green" flavor.   I have been making cashew/almond milk, almond milk or cashew milk and added hemp hearts 1:1 ratio with cashews this morning, 1/4 c of each.  Since it doesn't have the oils that nuts have, milk is slightly thinner. Still had a lightly green taste, but not bitter.  Haven't tried it, but think the maple syrup suggestion is worth trying....my next batch.
PS I never strain, just run it in my VitaMix for about 3 minutes using part ice. Just give it a shake before using.
PPS If making almond milk, be sure to blanch and remove skins first.

Wow - that is a great and easy recipe!  I used organic hemp hearts, along with the vanilla and dates. (I added more than 1 date.) Was creamy and held up in the fridge well. Also tried a "chocolate milk" with cacao, which I really liked.

This milk was delicious! I made it when I was hungry for a bowl of cereal but had no almond milk made. Made mine with vanilla and honey! Will definitely make this recipe again!
