Overnight oats are an easy make-ahead breakfast! With all the extra add-ins this recipe packs a big protein punch!

HIGH PROTEIN OVERNIGHT OATS

oats, rolled, old fashioned, or large flake

milk

tbsp nut or seed butter

tbsp hemp hearts

tsp chia seeds

tbsp chopped nuts

tbsp pumpkin or sunflower seeds

maple syrup

fruit

extra milk

unsweetened coconut

In a glass jar or a bowl, combine oats, nut butter, chia seeds, and hemp hearts. Add a splash of the milk and mix everything together. Add in the rest of the milk and stir to combine.

Cover and refrigerate overnight, or up to 5 days.

Serve warm or cold. You can warm it up in the microwave. Heat in small increments, stirring often, until it’s the temperature you like.

Top with chopped nuts, seeds, and fruit if using. Drizzle with maple syrup or honey if using.

Overnight Protein Oats

greek yogurt

almond milk

oats

sea salt

almond extract (sub. vanilla extract)

berries

Tbsp strawberry jam (see notes for homemade recipe)

peanut butter

banana

cocoa powder

Tbsp mini chocolate chips

In a single-serve jar, add the greek yogurt and protein powder and mix well to combine. You want to mix the powder into the yogurt so no large clumps remain. Then add the almond milk and mix again.

Add the oats, chia seeds, and sea salt to the jar and stir to coat the oats.

For the base oats

Swirl

Swirl the almond extract into the base oats recipe. Place a lid on top of the jar and then transfer to the fridge to set overnight (or for at least 3 hours).

Stir

Once set, stir in the frozen berries and enjoy!

Triple berry oats

Swirl 1 Tbsp of strawberry jam and 1 Tbsp peanut butter into the base oats recipe. Place a lid on top of the jar and then transfer to the fridge to set overnight (or for at least 3 hours).

Combine

Once set, stir the remaining 2 Tbsp strawberry jam and 1 Tbsp peanut butter. Top with banana slices and enjoy!

Peanut butter, banana, and jelly oats

Stir the cocoa powder and 1 Tbsp mini chocolate chip into the base oats recipe. Place a lid on top of the jar and then transfer to the fridge to set overnight (or for at least 3 hours).

Once set, stir the remaining mini chocolate chips, and enjoy!

Double chocolate oats

Wow! Super easy, super yummy and packed with protien!
