Best Chocolate Protein Spread - Fat Free & 3 Ingredients!

Tbsp Non-fat Greek Yogurt (28 grams)

Tbsp Chocolate Protein Powder (10 grams, about ⅓ scoop)

tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (or Cacao Powder)

tsp Water (or Almond Milk)

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients - Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder and water/milk.

Whisk or stir with a spoon until uniform.

Use as you would a chocolate spread!

A quick recipe for homemade High Protein Peanut Butter Spread made in under 2 minutes. The perfect healthy low calorie high protein spread that tastes just like peanut butter but with much less fat!

Quick High Protein Peanut Butter Spread

Tbsp Creamy Peanut Butter (16 grams)

1½ Tbsp Peanut Butter Powder (about 9 grams)

1½ Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder (8 grams)

1½ Tbsp Almond Milk (22 milliliters)

In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients - peanut butter, peanut butter powder, protein powder and milk.

Whisk or stir with a spoon until uniform; Add more milk about ½ tsp at a time to if too dry.

Use as you would a regular peanut butter spread!

Tastes great.  Also maybe it’s just what we used but I figured  it to  be about 30 grams of protein for the whole recipe. I used pb2, ghost chips ahoy protein powder, jif natural and then just regular milk.

Tried this and am very happy with it. My husband has had bariatric surgery and I have hypoglycemia so both of us need high protein and low carb and/ or low glycemic load. There's lots of room in this recipe for flavor experiments - like Salted Carmel Quest Protein Powder!  I tried it with one of the "grittier" pea protein powders and texture is still great. Expect this to become a staple..

Here's a protein-packed recipe that you can 'smoosh' over a bagel, toast, pitta bread or whatever takes your fancy. It's a gamechanger.

Tuna, Celery & Miso Smoosh

Celery

Spring Onion

Drained Tuna in Spring Water

Lemon

Miso Paste

Mayonnaise

Sesame Oil

Rice Vinegar

Sesame Seeds

Chop the celery and spring onions into small pieces. Drain your tuna, and juice your lemon.

Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl before ‘smooshing’ over toast – or pitta bread, a bagel, or whatever you fancy. Top with finely chopped spring onions.

I used half the miso because I found it too salty and omitted the sesame oil but this I can eat in repeat over the summer. Such a great WFH lunchypoo.

Added 2 more Tbsp of mayo and 1/2 tbsp extra miso to make it more smooshy. Spread over sandwich thins. Best thing ever !

Yum yum, I used a bit less tuna and it was still fine, very tasty! Saw someone else's suggestion and added a bit of chilli oil to serve with German rye and spinach.

Very nice, slightly dry but with great flavour. Topped with crispy onions and crispy chilli oil

So delicious - the flavours work so well together. I swapped mayo for Greek yoghurt as I hate mayo and added more (2 tbs), and put it on top of a roasted sweet potato.

Delicious. Made it without the sesame oil to save on the calories!!

The flavours of this are nice, fresh…but it’s very dry! I doubled the quality of mayo to try and make it cohere but it remained dry despite the lemon juice, vinegar and oil, and doesn’t feel like it ‘smooshes’ together at all. I think if I made it again I’d want a lot more mayo or other combing wet ingredient in it.

Actually blown away by how damn tasty this was! Adding it to the lunch time rotation for sure :)

Is the protein number correct on the nutritional advice? Looks very low.

Is the tuna in olive oil, brine or spring water? Esp for the nutritional info. Many thanks

Very tasty and quick to make. I replaced the tuna with canned sardines, added a boiled egg, and had it all with boiled potatoes.

Delicious made this for hubby's packed lunch and I ate the rest on toast for breakfast!!

Banging snack or light meal with largely stuff you’d have around the kitchen! Very good.
