Meatloaf with Stuffing is a tasty 2 pound ground beef meatloaf made with Stove Top stuffing mix.

With this easy Homemade Meatloaf Recipe, you’ll make the Best Meatloaf Ever—tasty, juicy, and doesn&#x27;t crumble when you slice it.

Homemade Meatloaf Recipe - Best Ever!

Breadcrumbs, fresh

Garlic, minced, optional

Onion, any variety, minced

Fine ground sea salt

black pepper

Ketchup

Fresh parsley, minced, optional

thyme (substitute with 1 tablespoon fresh, chopped)

Large Egg

Place the breadcrumbs in the bowl and gently mix with milk or bone broth to saturate.  Add up to 1/2 cup of milk or bone broth.

Once the breadcrumbs are saturated, add egg, garlic, onion, salt and pepper, 1/4 cup of ketchup, parsley, and thyme to the bowl and mix well.

Add meat to the breadcrumb mixture and mix gently with an open hand until all ingredients are incorporated. Do not over mix and do not squeeze the meat through your fingers.

Free-form meat mixture into a loaf on a foil-lined baking sheet or use a loaf pan to shape the meat mixture. (See the recipe video.)

Mix the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup and the Worcestershire sauce together, and brush over the top and sides of the meatloaf.

Place meatloaf into a preheated 350°F oven and bake until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.  Approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Homemade Meatloaf Recipe - Best Meatloaf Ever!

This meatloaf is a true kitchen staple. It’s perfectly tender, full of bold, savory flavors, and just the right balance of seasoning to make every bite delicious. With simple ingredients and plenty of flavor, this meatloaf is a comfort food you’ll come back to again and again.

All-American Meatloaf

beef (90% lean)

pork

Ritz crackers (crushed, about 25 crackers)

onion (finely chopped)

garlic (minced)

eggs

milk

salt

Italian seasoning

paprika

brown sugar

apple cider vinegar

Dijon mustard

parsley (chopped)

Preheat the oven to 375° Fahrenheit and line an 8x4-inch bread loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.

Combine the ground beef, ground pork, crushed Ritz crackers, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika in a large mixing bowl. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, pressing it evenly into shape.

Bake uncovered at 375° Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.

While the meatloaf bakes, whisk the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika in a small bowl to make the sauce.

After 40 minutes, remove the meatloaf from the oven and spread the sauce evenly across the top. Cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil and return to the oven for an additional 20 minutes.

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the meatloaf to a serving plate, slice, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

Press the brown sugar into the bottom of the pan. 

Mix the meat, eggs, onion, peppers, seasoning, crackers, and milk. 

Lightly pack the pan with the meatloaf mixture. 

Add the ketchup glaze to the meatloaf. Bake uncovered for 1 hour 10 minutes, or until juices run clear. 

Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. 

This easy meatloaf recipe is juicy, flavorful, and topped with a caramelized shiny glaze.

Traditional Homemade Meatloaf

bread crumbs

milk (or water plus more if needed)

olive oil (or butter)

onion

baking soda

water

ground beef (80-85% lean)

Bell's Seasoning* (optional)

black pepper (to taste)

soy sauce

Preheat oven to 350°F

In a small mixing bowl stir together bread crumbs and milk until they are fully moistened. Allow to soak while sautéing the onion.

Sauté the onions in oil or butter until soft.  Set aside to cool.

In a small mixing bowl mix ½ teaspoon baking soda with a tablespoon of water to form a slurry.

Add the beef to a large bowl and pour over the baking soda mixture before adding the moistened breadcrumbs, eggs, cooled onions, parsley, ketchup, Bell&#39;s Seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands until everything is just combined (trying not to over-mix).

Transfer the meat mixture to a roasting pan lined with nonstick foil (or parchment paper) Form into a loaf shape pressing with your hands.

In a smaller bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the glaze. Spread evenly over the top.

Bake the meatloaf for 55 minutes or until it has an internal temperature of 160°F.

Allow to rest 10 minutes (lightly tented with foil to keep it hot) before serving.

This was a really good meatloaf recipe. I didn't have Bell's Seasoning so I subbed other seasonings. I'll make it again after I get some Bell's. But the taste &amp; texture were good. I was specifically looking for a recipe for a moist meatloaf and this was fairly moist!

(Just a note on your instructions...you didn't include the breadcrumbs in the mixture! It would have been easy for me to forget to put them in! 😉)

This was the very best meatloaf I ever made--so flavorful and tender!  The spice combination is unique and delicious, and the addition of extra liquids and baking soda (and not overworking the mixture) evidently make all the difference in the meatloaf's texture.
