Pour buttermilk into the Greek yogurt maker container. Cover and incubate for 12 hours.

Pour the mixture into a sieve set over another container. Let the quark drain in the fridge for about 6 hours.

Transfer the finished quark to a covered container and refrigerate until ready to use.
