Sticky Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp

Honey

Soy Sauce

Garlic (minced)

Lemon

Shrimp

Tablespoons Butter

Green Onions (for garnish)

In a small bowl whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic and lemon. Add half of the sauce to the shrimp and let marinate for 30 minutes.

In a medium sized skillet add the butter. Add the shrimp and save marinade. Season with salt and pepper.

Turn the heat to medium high. Cook until the shrimp turns pink about 2 minutes each side.

Add the reserved marinade and pour over shrimp. Cook until the sauce starts to thicken and coats the shrimp. Garnish with green onions.

Baked Crispy Honey Lime Shrimp

shrimp

eggs

soy sauce

rice vinegar

panko breadcrumbs

butter

honey

garlic

juice of 1 lime ((about 1 tablespoon))

sriracha sauce

water

corn starch

lime zest and cilantro, for topping

In a medium bowl whisk together eggs, soy sauce and rice vinegar. Add shrimp and stir to combine. Cover and chill for 15 minutes.

Dip the shrimp in the panko crumbs to coat as thoroughly as you can, then arrange in a single layer on a greased baking sheet. Spray shrimp with cooking spray.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden.

While shrimp is baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium sauce pan melt butter over medium high heat. Stir in honey, soy sauce, garlic, sriracha, and lime juice. Bring to a boil.

In a small bowl whisk together water and corn starch until dissolved. Pour into sauce pan, stir until thickened. remove from heat.

Once shrimp are cooked and golden, toss them in the sauce (or pour sauce over shrimp, turning to coat as necessary). Top with lime zest and chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.

Honey Butter Cajun Shrimp with Smoked Gouda Grits

low-sodium chicken stock/broth

whole milk, divided

corn grits

smoked gouda cheese, freshly grated

unsalted butter

kosher salt & black pepper,

lb raw medium shrimp, peeled & deveined

cajun seasoning

(1 stick) unsalted butter,

shallot,

pure honey

lemon juice,

lemon

dill

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them into a bowl. Season the shrimp with the cajun seasoning and gently toss to coat. Cover the bowl with a lid/plastic wrap and transfer to the refrigerator to marinate while you make the grits.

Using a heavy-bottomed saucepan or large pot over medium-high heat; combine the stock, 1 cup of milk, and grits together. Stir the mixture together and let it come to a boil, about 8-10 minutes.

Once the mixture starts to boil, reduce the heat to the medium-low and continue cooking, stirring the mixture every so often. Allow the grits to cook up until you see all the liquid is absorbed and the grits become soft and tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Then sprinkle in the cheese along with the butter and remaining 1 cup of milk. Stir everything together very well until all the cheese has melted through and everything is combined. Season the grits with salt/pepper, to taste. Note: keep the grits on the lowest stove setting to keep warm or remove from heat while you make the shrimp.

Heat a large, non-stick skillet over medium heat and add in the butter. Once melted, add the shrimp in a single layer- careful not to overcrowd the pan, work in batches, if needed. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the flesh is pink and opaque. Then transfer all the cooked shrimp to a clean plate and set aside.

Add the shallot into the skillet and sauté until tender, about 2-3 minutes. Then add in the garlic and continue cooking until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the honey along with the lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir everything together until combined. Allow the sauce to come up to a slight boil and then remove from heat.

Add the cooked shrimp back into the skillet and toss together to fully coat all the shrimp in the honey butter sauce.

Serve immediately by placing the gouda grits into bowls, and top with the honey butter cajun shrimp and any residual pan sauce drippings. Garnish with fresh herbs and a lemon slice, if desired. Enjoy!

Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp Recipe

olive oil

garlic garlic

coconut aminos (or low sodium soy sauce)

lime juice

black pepper

red chili flakes (optional)

scallions

In a pan over medium heat melt 2 tablespoons of butter or heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add garlic and cook for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and slightly softened.

Add honey, coconut aminos, lime juice, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir and cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes until the sauce becomes sticky.

Once the sauce has thickened, remove the sauce from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan over medium heat melt 1 tablespoon of butter or add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp in a single layer, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Once the shrimps turn pink and curled slightly, add the sauce and cook for another 1 minute so that the shrimps are well coated in the sauce. (do not overcook)

Serve hot garnished with chopped scallions, rice and steamed broccoli.

Honey Garlic Shrimp

Honey Shrimp With Broccoli &amp; Water Chestnuts

tbs vegetable oil

water chestnuts (drained)

broccoli florets

garlic (finely minced)

tbs honey

chicken stock

tbs low-sodium soy sauce

tsp dark sesame oil

ginger

cornstarch

Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.

Add the cornstarch to a small bowl then add the remaining sauce ingredients; stir well

Heat the oil in a large, deep skillet or wok over high heat. Add the shrimp and garlic. Drizzle the shrimp with the honey.

Stir fry until shrimp are pink and lightly crusted and brown. Add the sliced water chestnuts.

Add the broccoli and stir fry until it is bright green.

Stir the sauce again so it's well blended and add to the shrimp and broccoli. Stir and bring to a boil. Cook for 1 minute to cook the cornstarch.

Serve immediately over rice.

1/2 tsp of powdered ginger may be substituted.

If you want a little heat in this dish, sprinkle with a little red pepper flakes.

Honey Walnut Shrimp

Tablespoons honey

Tablespoon sweetened condensed milk

Stir the water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a boil.  Add walnuts and continue to boil for 2 minutes. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using a slotted spoon and spread in a single layer.  Set aside.

Glazed Walnuts

In a medium bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, honey and sweetened condensed milk.

Honey Sauce

In a large ziploc bag, combine the cornstarch and salt.  Add the shrimp to the bag, then seal and shake to coat evenly in the cornstarch.

Heat two tablespoons of the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.  

Add half of the shrimp to the skillet, shaking off excess cornstarch first, taking care not to crowd the pan.  Cook until the shrimp curl into a 'c' shape and are pink and crisp on the outside, about 2 minutes per side side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.  Repeat with the remaining two tablespoons of oil and the remaining shrimp.

Combine the crispy fried shrimp and honey sauce and toss to coat. Sprinkle with candied walnuts and green onions and serve.
