These Easy Italian Sliders are made up of savory deli meats, provolone cheese, seasonings, and deliciously fresh buns. When served warm, the flavorful meats with the melty cheese make this combination of slider requested over and over at all the functions!

EASY ITALIAN SLIDERS

buns, a tray of buns

provolone

mustard

butter

tbsp minced garlic

parsley

Preheat oven to 350

Cut the tray of buns horizontally

Fit the bottom buns (still attached to eachother)...

Fit the bottom buns (still attached to eachother) onto, or into a baking sheet or pan

Spread with the mustard

Begin layering the pieces of mortadella, then slices...

Begin layering the pieces of mortadella, then slices of cheese, then the salami, then the cheese, etc.

When all layers are done, replace the top...

When all layers are done, replace the top layer of the buns.

Melt the butter and add the garlic and...

Melt the butter and add the garlic and parsley. Brush onto the top of the buns

Bake in the oven for approximately 12 -...

Bake in the oven for approximately 12 - 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the tops of the buns are browned.

Remove and let rest for 10 minutes, then...

Remove and let rest for 10 minutes, then cut and serve!

Italian Grinder Sliders are the ultimate mini version of the classic, with layers of deli meats, melted cheese, and a garlic parmesan glaze.

Italian Grinder Sliders

hawaiian rolls

ham (thinly sliced)

provolone cheese (sliced)

pepperoni

salami

parmesan

garlic powder

salt

lettuce

tomato

pepperoncini peppers

mayonnaise

red wine vinegar

Italian seasoning

pepper

Preheat the oven to 350˚F.

Cut the hawaiian rolls horizontally. Lay the bottoms in a baking dish.

Layer the provolone cheese on the bread. Then add the ham, pepperoni, and salami on top. Place the tops back on the rolls and cut through the sandwiches between each roll.

Combine the butter, parmesan, garlic powder, and salt. Spread over the tops of the slider sandwiches. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

While the sandwiches bake, make the grinder salad by whisking together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to form a dressing.Toss the lettuce, tomatoes, and pepperoncini peppers together with the dressing.

Once the sandwiches are done, remove the tops, add the grinder salad and put the tops back on. Serve immediately.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this recipe! I changed it a bit for us. I didn’t have any red wine vinegar so I used Italian dressing. Very tasty! And I used provolone and Swiss cheeses. This recipe goes into the line up for our menu!!! Thank you!

Yummmmm!! This was so quick and easy to make! My 8 and 5 year old kiddos loved them too! Cheesy Sausage and Pepper Italian Sliders Recipe + Video

slider buns (split (we love Hawaiian))

sausage

green pepper (diced)

red pepper (diced)

onion

marinara sauce

mozzarella cheese (divided)

butter (melted)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

On stove saute together your Italian sausage, peppers and onions until no longer pink and vegetables are tender, remove from heat, drain and set aside.

Place the bottom half of your sliders in your baking pan and sprinkle with one cup of cheese.

Top with your sausage and pepper mixture.

Spread your marinara over the top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Place top of your buns over your cheese.

In small bowl mix together your melted butter, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Spread over the top of slider buns, reserving just a little bit to brush on after they are done baking.

Bake, uncovered, 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.

I wasn't even planning on cooking today when I came across this recipe, but it looked too good not to try. It was so easy to make.

Italian Sliders (Sausage and Pepper)

An incredibly tasty chopped Italian sandwich mix made on the famous Kings Hawaiian Rolls!

Chopped Italian Sliders

oz Shredded Lettuce

Cup Mayonnaise

Cup Red Onion, diced

Cup Dill Pickles, chopped

Cup Pickled Banana Peppers, chopped

oz Deli Sliced Ham

oz Deli Sliced Salami

4-6 oz Smoked Provolone cheese, sliced

Tbs Butter, melted

Tbs Dried Italian Seasoning

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Cut the rolls in half, and set the top buns aside. Spread a few tablespoons of mayonnaise on the bottom buns. Place in the oven-safe tray or a 9x13 baking dish and bake for 7-10 minutes or until they are golden brown.

While the rolls are in the oven chop up the deli meats and heat thoroughly in a skillet over medium heat.

Mix together all of the ingredients for the salad topping.

When the bottom rolls are toasted place a layer of provolone on top, followed by the heated meats. Cover with the top buns. Mix the melted butter and Italian seasoning together and brush on top. Bake for another 5-7 minutes.

Carefully remove the top buns and cover the meat with the salad mixture.  Place the top buns back on and slice them up carefully and enjoy!

Amazing! I made these tonight for dinner! I precut the onions, peppers and meats and stored them in the refrigerator until dinner time!

I was able to put them all together super fast and even cooked them in the airfryer/oven. 
 Even my picky eater loved them!

I make this as just a salad and leave out the bread since I have celiac. It's so good as a side dish or a meal during the summer! Thanks so much!

This was a big hit at my house! Thanks for a great recipe! Everyone declared it a keeper. Easy and delicious. I skipped the salami because I'm not a fan, did turkey pepperoni and low fat mayo. In the future I will do less mayo, the salad was SOOOOO good, but too wet.

These are worth the mess they making eating them.  They are very messy to eat but damn delicious.  Switch up the salad mixture to your liking. I added green and black olives to mine, as well as the things called for here. I just cut back on the peppers and pickles to keep the proportions the same.  I have made these about 4 times since finding this recipe about 6 months ago.  Everyone loves them.  Don't make the mistake of putting a few to the side to save for someone not there yet.  They will magically disappear. Better to lock them up in the safe if you want to keep some for later.

I am an accomplished cook and have tried hundresd of appitizer/game/ party type food over the years.  This are one of my favorite things to make and require very little skill or prep time.  They always disapperar quickly and everyone raves about how good they are.  They will go soggy fast so don't make the lettuce mixture up early and do assemble them until right before you are going to eat them.  If you are not going to eat them all at once only put the lettuce mixture on what you plan to eat and dress the others later.  They are a winner and a keeper! Thank you for this recipe.

So good!! I'm obsessed. The salad had so much flavor and really brought the sliders together. They were messy but worth it! (I did omit the red onions though)
