This light and fluffy no-bake strawberry cake recipe is a nostalgic dessert that my mom used to make when I was a kid! With store-bought angel food cake, Jello, Cool Whip and frozen strawberries, this easy dessert recipe is great for sharing with family or taking to a party.

Strawberry Jello Angel Food Cake Dessert

Set out frozen strawberries to thaw while working on the rest of the recipe.

Boil water. 

Break 1/2 of the angel food cake in to chunks and put in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

Mix powdered Jello in a bowl with 2 cups boiling water.

Add strawberries immediately and stir.

You may need to use your hands to break up chunks of frozen strawberries.

Stir in spoonfuls of Cool Whip until well mixed.

Spoon 1/2 mixture over angel food cake in dish.

Repeat layers and set in refrigerator for several hours.

Cut in to squares and serve immediately. (Your squares won't be perfect. The gelatin is not firm.)

Orange Juice Cake using Boxed Cake Mix

(15.25 oz) box Vanilla Cake Mix

(3 oz) box Orange Jello mix

butter, melted

eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray with added flour. (Or grease &amp; flour dish.) Set aside.

In medium bowl whisk together 1 cup orange juice and box jello mix until combined and sugars are dissolved. Set aside.

In a large bowl using an electric hand mixer, combine vanilla cake mix, orange juice &amp; jello mix, melted butter, and eggs.

Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and bake in preheated oven per directions on back of cake mix box for a 9 x 13. Allow cake to cool completely in dish.

In a medium bowl whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar with 2 TBS orange juice until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake. Grate orange peel over glaze.

My easy jello salad is made with strawberry jello mix to get a light, fluffy, and creamy texture. All made in just 5 minutes!

Place the cottage cheese in a food processor and pulse it until it becomes smooth and creamy. This step is optional, but I find it gives the jello salad a nice texture, especially for those who aren&#39;t a fan of chunky cottage cheese.

In a large bowl, stir together the strawberry jello and cottage cheese. Next, add the crushed pineapple and stir to combine. 

Add the cool whip and gently fold it into the cottage cheese mixture– you don’t want to deflate the cool whip too much, so make sure to stir gently. 

If you have time, allowing the jello salad to rest in the fridge before serving will help the flavors meld, but if you’re in a rush, serve it as is. 

Garnish with sliced strawberries, and enjoy.
