It's an oldie, but a goodie-- Meatloaf! There's not a whole lot better than a tender and moist meatloaf and this is the PERFECT recipe in my book.

sage

beef (80/20% fat)

onion (finely chopped)

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and shape meat into a loaf shape. Dip fingers in water and smooth out the cracks with your if needed.

Place in oven and bake for about 20 minutes.

Combine ketchup, sugar and Worcestershire sauce and spoon half of it over the partially cooked loaf. Return to the oven.

Cook for 5-7 minutes longer and spoon the remainder of the sauce over meatloaf. Continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees-- about 10-15 additional for a total of 35-45 minutes total cooking time.

So I added ancho chilli bbq rub and steakhouse seasoning to it. Along with more worchestershire sauce, onion powder and dried onions. I had garlic salt not powder. But It tastes amazing with the added stuff!

So delicious! My family loved it. Had very very little leftover. I thought mine was the best until I tried this one.

Meatloaf glaze is THE BEST! I usually just mix some ketchup, yellow mustard and brown sugar together and slather over uncooked meatloaf! I'm def going to try your version. Thanks!

This was such a unique and unexpected recipe that does not disappoint! Was the perfect touch of flavor to a classic dish; definitely, the best way to enjoy meatloaf!

This was delicious! By far the best part of the meatloaf ;)

That's what I'm talking about! I already love making glaze for meatloaf because I use it on my chicken and pork, too. Your version is a little different than mine, so I can't wait to make it!

The glaze on the meatloaf is everything, if you ask me. ;) Can't wait to try this the next time I make meatloaf.
