Easy Taco Keto Burgers

Pound Ground Beef (or Turkey (I use 80/20 here))

Packet Taco Seasoning Mix (Low Sodium Preferred)

Large Whole Egg

Serving Crackers (Keto Friendly (or Tortilla Chips if you can afford the carbs))

Cheese (Your favorite)

½ Tablespoons Butter (Melted)

Tablespoons Almond Flour

½ Teaspoon Baking Powder

Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl

Shape your burgers while throwing a dimple into the middle of each one (this helps the patty keep its shape)

Put them on the grill and cook to your preferred temperature

A few minutes before they’re done throw a Jarlsberg Cheese slice to the top of each one

Add your ingredients into a small bowl (this will be the shape of your bun)

Mix everything together

Microwave 1-2 minutes

Let cool and cut it in half

First, you'll start by portioning out 4 (2-oz) ground beef patties. We opt for 85-15 beef. Flatten them out until they are about the width of your fist. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat the butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Once melted, lower the heat the low add in the diced onions and allow to cook until dark golden brown, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally but use this time to assemble the remaining ingredients.

For the fry sauce, simply mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl or jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

Once the onions are done, remove them to a plate and set aside.

Increase the heat to medium and place the burgers in the skillet. Cook 2-3 minutes per side. Once you flip, brush the tops of each burger with a teaspoon of yellow mustard. Flip then place a slice of cheese on top of two of the burgers. Cover the skillet and cook for the 2-3 minutes while the cheese is melting.

Assemble the Keto Burgers - if using a bun simply stack from the bottom up...tomato, pickle, a patty with cheese on top, the other patty, fry sauce, onions. If using lettuce simply do the same order and wrap in lettuce.

Add the ground beef to a large skillet on the stove over medium high heat.

Crumble and cook until the beef is browned, about 6-8 minutes.

Drain any grease from the skillet, return it to the stove over medium heat.

Add the steak seasoning, worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, hot sauce and ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese.

Stir all of the ingredients together, then remove the skillet from the heat.

Assemble the bowls by adding 1 cup lettuce to the bottom of 4 bowls.

Divide the cooked, seasoned ground beef mixture between the bowls, then add the tomatoes, pickles, red onion, cheddar cheese and ¼ avocado to each bowl.

Drizzle the burger sauce over the bowls and serve immediately.
