These easy Keto Candied Pecans are the perfect crunchy, salty-sweet snack. They take only 5 ingredients and you can make them in your slow cooker or on the stovetop. They make a great last minute gift too!

Keto Candied Pecans Recipe

pecan halves

Swerve Brown

butter

cinnamon

chipotle powder (optional)

tsp kosher salt

Grease a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker.

Place all of the ingredients into the slow cooker and set to low for 3 hours. Stir a few times during cooking to coat the pecans.

Spread the mixture out on a parchment lined baking sheet to cool. Break apart any clumps once the nuts are cool.

These keto candied pecans are sweet and salty with a smooth buttery flavor. They are the perfect keto snack, topping, or sweet treat. And all you need is 10 minutes and only 3 ingredients to make this keto candied pecans recipe.

Keto Candied Pecans | The Best Sugar Free Candied Pecans 

(240 grams) whole pecans

Heaping ½ cup (120 grams) Granular Swerve (or Lakanto's Sweetener)

unsalted butter

cinnamon (optional)

salt (optional)

Add pecans to a medium sized bowl, add swerve to another bowl, and cube up butter and add to a small dish. Set these aside. 

Get out a large pan and heat a flat top burner on low

Add pecans to pan and stir and work pecans around the pan until they become fragrant (this should only take a few minutes). Transfer pecans back to bowl from earlier and set aside.

Add cubed butter to your pan. Stir it around until it is completely melted.

Pour swerve into the pan and and stir it around to incorporate it into the butter. Make sure you continue stirring the entire time. 

Once the swerve caramelizes and dissolves into the butter, you can add the pecans back into the pan. Work your pecans around the pan and coat them in the candy sauce.

Add a pinch of salt and cinnamon for a little extra flavor. Then stir the pecans around some more to work these ingredients into the pecans.

Transfer your pecans to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread them out evenly in the tray to give them some room to cool so they don’t stick together (It will take around 5 minutes for them to cool).

Made them the first time for part of my son’s Christmas. I’ve made homemade fiddle faddle for him since he was 3. Diabetes runs in the family and it’s now his turn. I sampled the Keto pecans and they are really good. It’s a healthy snack and won’t raise blood sugar. Us borderline and full fledged diabetics can now have Keto sweet treats, in moderation, and not feel so deprived. Great recipe!

Oh man, this recipe has made me so happy.  It brought me back to my childhood.  My parents would often make several stops at the welcome center and gas stations in Georgia whenever we went on family vacations, just for candied pecans.  It was the only time I'd ever have them.  I always wished I had a keto version.  I picked up a large bag of pecans today and thought I'd see if Joe had a recipe.  And what luck!  These were PERFECT!  I'm just blown away by how delicious these are! 

A little side note for anyone that makes these in a darker pan:  if you think the color hasn't changed or changed enough, it likely has.  I honestly thought I messed the recipe up, but after adding the pecans to the pan, it all went together just fine.

Scrumptious!  The best part of a sticky bun without all the guilt!  Thank you for another great, easy recipe with excellent results.

Everyone in the family loved these!  In fact, we took them to multiple family events over the holidays and not one single person guessed that they were keto.  On the flip side, they were so delicious that we didn't bring a single crumb home.

Keto Candied Pecans IN 10 MINUTES | Easy Low Carb Candied Pecans For Keto

These keto candied pecans are sweet, crunchy, and totally guilt-free, with just 1 gram of net carbs per serving. You can even make them on the stovetop, oven, or slow cooker!

Keto Candied Pecans

allulose (divided * See notes)

water

vanilla extract

Heat a large pan or skillet on medium heat.&nbsp;

When hot, add 1 cup of your granulated sweetener, water, and vanilla extract and mix until fully combined. Allow to heat up, stirring occasionally.

When the sweetener has completely melted, add your pecans. Start to mix around the pecans in the liquid mixture, ensuring each nut is evenly coated. Continue stirring occasionally, until the sweetener begins to crystallize&nbsp;on the pecans. Turn heat off.&nbsp;

Remove the pan from the stove and allow to sit for 2-3 minutes. Use a wooden spoon to break apart the pecans before they crystallize&nbsp;together.&nbsp;

Once cooled, toss with the remaining half cup of granulated sweetener and cinnamon and cover in a sealed container.&nbsp;

So delicious! I used a combo of allulose and monk fruit and mine tired out to be more caramel coated and super sticky. Still Very yummy! How long are you supposed to stir/cook the nuts after adding them to the melted sugar syrup? I’m wondering if I didn’t do it long enough? I stirred them over medium heat for about 5 minutes…not long enough?

This is very similar to my recipe. I like a sweet heat pecan, so I add some cayenne pepper. So good. We like them on chicken salad sandwiches.

Thank you SO MUCH for this recipe! I love candied pecans, and these hit the spot. I used a mix of baking stevia and sucralose, as I didn't have monk fruit. The nuts were a bit soggy after being in the liquid, so after stirring them in the coating, I left them in a 200 oven for 20 minutes to dry out. Monk fruit may produce a different result. The only significant change I made was to add 1 tsp of salt to the coating mixture. For me it dramatically improves the flavor, but then I love salty treats!

I know some of you will probably gag or think I’m going to drop dead, but I used good ol’ Splenda. They are delicious! Thank you so much for the easy and great recipe!
