Sugar-Free Keto Maple Syrup is made with only a few ingredients making it taste just like the real thing. Ready in less than 10 minutes, this sugar-free maple syrup doesn’t have all the carbs or calories like regular syrup, but it is the perfect complement to your low carb breakfast.

Keto Sugar-Free Maple Syrup

water

golden monk fruit

½ tsp xanthan gum

salt

vanilla

maple extract

In a small bowl add the golden monk fruit, xanthan gum, and salt. Stir together and set aside. 

Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and turn on low heat, bring it to a simmer. You do NOT want it to boil at any point. 

Add the sweetener to the water. I recommend adding it one tablespoon at a time. It dissolves better and prevents any clumping. Continuing stirring for about 3-4 minutes. You don’t want it to thicken too much. You still want it to be liquidity enough to pour. 

Take off the heat, then add the vanilla and maple extract. Stir again. 

Let cool then transfer to your jar of choice.

This keto maple syrup is perfectly sweet, with a rich maple finish, and a legit syrupy texture. In fact, it has such a true flavor that you won't believe it is a sugar free maple syrup with 0 CARBS! And it is so simple to make and tastes incredible on so many recipes.

Keto Maple Syrup | The Best Sugar Free Maple Syrup 

(170 grams) brown swerve

(50 grams) confectioners swerve

(600 mL) water

tbsps. (26 grams) maple extract

(5 grams) butter extract

vanilla extract

(2 grams) cinnamon

(2 grams) xanthan gum

Add brown swerve, confectioners swerve, and water to a medium-sized pot. Mix ingredients with a spoon and put on a burner over medium heat.

Bring mixture to a boil and stir ingredients occasionally while bringing to a boil. 

Once it boils, turn the heat down to low. Add in maple syrup extract, butter extract, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

Whisk ingredients together until they combine. Then add xanthan gum to the pot and turn the burner up a couple of notches.

Continuously whisk everything together for a couple of minutes. 

Take the pot off the heat and set aside to cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes). 

Once cooled, use a funnel to pour into empty maple syrup jars. 

Put in the fridge to continue cooling. (If syrup crystalizes while cooling, add some maple syrup to a bowl before you use it and microwave for about a minute).

Wow wow wow!!! We made this for brunch today, and it is honest to god the best sugar free maple syrup we’ve ever had.

Keto Maple Syrup

Swerve brown sugar substitute

xanthan gum

Place ½ cup of the warm water in a small bowl and add the xanthan gum to it. Whisk quickly and continuously until thickened and well blended.

Add the rest of the water and the sugar substitute to a saucepan over medium heat on the stove. Once hot, whisk in the xanthan gum mixture until completely blended and smooth. Allow the syrup to thicken to your liking.

Remove the syrup mixture from the heat and stir in the maple and vanilla extracts. Let cool and serve or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Eggs

Cup (50 grams) Cream Cheese

Tablespoons (70 grams) Almond Meal

Ingredients for Low Carb Pancakes

Prepare all your ingredients to make those perfect keto Cream Cheese Pancakes. Make sure your cream cheese and eggs are at room temperature.

Sweetener and Eggs

Using your hand blender for easier maneuver, whisk eggs with sweetener until fluffy light consistency. It will help at the end for your pancakes to be extra fluffy. 

Rest of the Ingredients

Once whisk your eggs and sweetener properly, add all other ingredients needed.

Whisk once again using your hand Blender until your batter is thoroughly combined.

Cook

Heat your non-stick pan and add a bit of extra virgin olive oil. With a tablespoon, drop two tablespoons of the batter into the middle of the pan.

Keto Maple Syrup Recipe

allulose sweetener

brown sugar replacement

tbsp butter

tsp maple extract

In a heavy duty saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweeteners and water. Bring to a boil, whisking to dissolve the sweeteners. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer 5 minutes. Watch carefully to make sure it doesn&#39;t burn.

Add the butter and whisk to melt. Return to a simmer and cook until the mixture begins to thicken and darken in color.

Remove from heat and whisk in the maple extract and salt, if using.

Let cool to room temperature and transfer to a glass jar for storing.

I've not liked any of the keto-friendly syrups from the grocery store, so I searched for a homemade recipe. This is the first I've tried and it'll be the last. It's perfect!! After reading the comments from people whining that it crystalized or was watery, I made sure I followed the recipe. Using allulose is the key, people! (For the brown sugar, I used the Swerve brand.) I cooked up an excellent batch of delicious, thick, maple-ly, butter-y syrup. YUM!!

I should have come here first.  I googled maple syrup and all the recipes I found were the same—a mixture of water, sugar substitute, maple flavour and xantham gum.  

I tried one of them and ended up with a watery-tasting, maple-flavoured gel-like syrup.  With lumps in it. The last was my fault for not reading the comments.

I have high hopes for yours.  For one, the cooking will concentrate the flavour, I am sure.  The butter is a nice addition, and the syrup won't be weirdly gel-like.

Now that I FINALLY got my hands on Allulose in Canada, I'm ready to try this.  As soon as I finish the gellified atrocity.

Great recipe.  I made the mistake of adding 1/8th tsp xanthan gum, thinking it would help emulsify the butter and make the syrup a bit thicker.  It became toffee like thick as it cooled.  Tasted great on French toast. Thanks!

Okay this is awesome!!!  Made it wrong the first time. Looked at the tips for thickening.  Turned out perfect.

If it solidified on the plate, you didn't use the correct sweeteners. Allulose keeps it from doing so, so I can tell from your description that you didn't follow the recipe. Results are only guaranteed when you use the specified ingredients.

absolutely awful. sure the taste is good but what good is that when the syrup solidifies on the plate? ruined the entire breakfast.

This keto maple syrup is a low carb and sugar free take on a classic pancake syrup! Simple ingredients and better than store bought!

Easy Keto Maple Syrup

water (divided)

granulated sweetener of choice (* See notes)

butter extract (or vanilla extract)

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of the water along with the xanthan gum. Let it sit for several minutes, for it to thicken.

In a small saucepan, add the rest of the water, salt, and granulated sweetener. On low heat, bring it to a simmer. Once simmering, remove from the heat.

Add the xanthan gum mixed water and whisk into the warm liquid. Add the flavor extracts until combined. Let the syrup cool completely and it will continue to thicken.

I just made your syrup and my house smells amazing!! I make chia pudding and add it to mu oatmeal and always add a squirt of diet syrup to it and I had run out. Then, I saw your recipe and i had all the ingredients to make it so I whipped up a batch. WOW, i'm sooo impressed, it tastes wonderful!!! Thank you for this recipe as I ran out of Lakanto syrup (which does not have maple syrup in it and I have to add the extract at home anyways).  I did use a whisk to mix the mixture again during the cooling process to dissolve the xanthan gum.
