Keto Oatmeal / Porridge Substitute Recipe - Low Carb, Tasty &amp; Super Healthy

Golden Flaxseed Meal

Coconut Flour

Chia Seeds

Unsweetened Almond Milk

Heavy Cream

Sugar-Free Maple Syrup

Vanilla Essence

Place the dry ingredients into a small saucepan and mix together.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk the ingredients together for about 10 minutes until it has thickened and is warmed through.

Pour into a bowl&nbsp;and top with your favorite toppings - we recommend extra Sugar-Free Maple Syrup and chopped Pecans.

Keto Recipe - Oatmeal & Porridge Substitute - Tasty Low Carb, Healthy Breakfast Cereal (Omega 3s)

Missing oatmeal for breakfast? This low carb and Keto Oatmeal or as some call it &quot;noatmeal&quot; is easy, uses chia seeds, is high protein, and can be made overnight, in the microwave or on the stovetop.  I give a basic oatmeal recipe below and then I give you a ton of add ins to make this recipe your own!

keto Oatmeal or Noatmeal - Microwave, Overnight, or Stovetop

Tablespoons Hemp Hearts

Cinnamon OR vanilla extract

Tablespoons Heavy Cream

Water

Tablespoon Granular Sweetener (Click here to see my favorite on Amazon)

In a medium sized bowl with a lid, add all of the ingredients and stir to combine.&nbsp;

Refrigerate four hours to overnight stirring at least once. Add more almond milk or cream to thin if needed.  Serve with your toppings of choice (see post above)

For Low Carb Overnight Oats

Add all ingredients to a microwave safe bowl and cook on high for 2 minutes.  Remove from the mircrowave and serve with your toppings of choice.

For Microwave Keto Oatmeal

Add all of the ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat.  Cook for 5-8 minutes until thick, stirring occasionally.  Serve with your toppings of choice.

KETO WHAT I EAT Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

This fiber rich, hot keto cereal recipe is quick to make and gives you a combination of protein and fat for breakfast. With easy recipes like this, you can enjoy comfort food like porridge, oatmeal, and cream of wheat on a keto diet.

Hot Keto Cereal (Low-Carb Oatmeal)

coconut flour

flax seed

chia seed

water

sugar

cinnamon

vanilla extract

salt

eggs

coconut cream

berries

almond butter

coconut

hemp seeds

cacao nibs

Combine coconut flour, flax, and chia with the water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes, as it comes to a simmer.

Cook

Mix sweeter, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a small bowl. Add to the pot and stir to combine.

Reduce

Reduce heat to low. Stir in the whisked eggs and continue cooking until cereal has thickened, approximately 5 minutes.

Serve

Serve warm with cream on top. Divide optional add-ins equally between all servings.

I cook mine with unsweetened almond milk, and instead of eggs, I use Transparent lab protein powder, with one scoop providing 28 grams of protein. This cereal is delicious!

Thank you, Jessica! I am following a Paleo diet for six years due to gut issues and missing hot cereal, but no longer! I have made this 3 times, each with adjusting and substituting ingredients that my body doesn't tolerate.

This is my latest and best iteration: two T flaxseed, two T flax meal, 1/2 C coconut flour, two T cassava flour, 1C full fat coconut milk (left over from another recipe), 2 C water, vanilla and cinnamon to taste, No Eggs, No Sweetener!
It's creamy and slightly sweet from the coconut milk. I look forward to my morning meal now that I can change it up from Paleo waffles or a chickpea wrap.

This is an easy, excellent recipe, I make it every Sunday and take it to work with me. I only work 4 days a week; and since the recipe makes 4 servings, it is perfect. It is very filling and stays with me for most of the day. I can't say enough about this recipe, I've been making it for months and will continue to do so. Thank you so much for sharing.
