Avocado

Psyllium Husk

Natural Peanut Butter

Unsweetened Almond Milk

Walnuts

tbsp matcha MCT powder (optional)

Remove the flesh from the avocado.

Put all the ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker.

Blend until smooth 30 seconds to 1 minute depending on your blender.

Pour into a tall glass or milkshake container.

Tbsps. (36 grams) Confectioners Swerve

I made this tonight as a dessert. It turned out perfect. The only thing I’m going to try next is using stevia drops as sweetener as erythritol gives me tummy upset. I use it but I avoid it where I can &amp; substitute stevia. Delicious recipe-thank you for making a “keto” version. I have made SO many of your keto recipes and they are all fantastic!

Thiccc about sums it up. I made this with almond butter instead of protein powder. And I used regular milk. By the way: could you look into the topic 'keto milk from cream' at some point? I think Aaron from fatforweightloss does that, but it is rather thin and is not really tasteful either. I can see you pottering about and experimenting with that and come up with something better.

This is superb for those schooldays when the kids are in a hurry or have exam week, I reckon, as this is a quick lunch which doesn't fog up their brains, they can "eat" it without having to look on their plate, just take a glug out of their smoothie cups, and they'll definitely not get fidgety or suffer low blood sugar in the exam later. 

PS: Now, that I have stocked up on almond flour, xanthan gum, protein powder etc., we really dig deep into your recipes, yesterday I made the keto pasta and your Italian white bread, a few days earlier a variation of Marsala chicken (we added broccoli as well, some of us are not into mushrooms), your Zuppa Toscana... This is comfort food at its finest and we already have shredded several pounds. I'd also like your opinion on zucchini lasagna - I did not go for the pain-in-the-anatomy versions out there, where they salt those thin slices and pat them dry, roast them in the oven, etc., I just didn't put any extra liquid into the ground beef part, so the zucchini did indeed shed water, but that was already put into the equation so to say, and it was perfect.

Keto Protein Shake | Oreo Flavored | 2 NET CARBS

Keto turmeric milkshake is perfect both hot and cold. The perfect healthy drink.

Keto Turmeric Milkshake Recipe

375 ml non dairy milk (I used coconut milk)

coconut oil

tsp turmeric powder (or 3 inch peeled turmeric root)

tsp ground ginger (or 1/2 inch peeled ginger root)

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp vanilla extract

granulated sweetener of choice (or more, to your taste)

Himalayan salt

ice cubes

Measure

Place all of the ingredients in a high-powered blender. If your blender is not high powered enough, grate or mince the turmeric and ginger roots before adding to the blender, or use powdered turmeric and ginger instead.

Blend

Blend on HIGH for 30 seconds, or until thick and golden.

Serve

Pour the kero turmeric milkshake into a glass and sprinkle with cinnamon and turmeric.

Made with unsweetened cashew milk, and also added ground pepper blend to help absorption of the Turmeric. Wasn't sure if I liked it with the first couple sips, but about halfway through the glass, I decided it was OK. I found myself wishing it was warm instead of cold. I'm used to drinking warm turmeric tea, so am definitely going to make this again, but the warm version, and I'm sure I will love it.

According to the nutrition label... No fat, 7 grams of carbs, less than 2 grams of protein? It may be healthy, but this is NOT Keto!
