Sugar-Free Keto Maple Syrup is made with only a few ingredients making it taste just like the real thing. Ready in less than 10 minutes, this sugar-free maple syrup doesn’t have all the carbs or calories like regular syrup, but it is the perfect complement to your low carb breakfast.

Keto Sugar-Free Maple Syrup

water

golden monk fruit

½ tsp xanthan gum

salt

vanilla

maple extract

In a small bowl add the golden monk fruit, xanthan gum, and salt. Stir together and set aside. 

Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and turn on low heat, bring it to a simmer. You do NOT want it to boil at any point. 

Add the sweetener to the water. I recommend adding it one tablespoon at a time. It dissolves better and prevents any clumping. Continuing stirring for about 3-4 minutes. You don’t want it to thicken too much. You still want it to be liquidity enough to pour. 

Take off the heat, then add the vanilla and maple extract. Stir again. 

Let cool then transfer to your jar of choice.

This keto maple syrup is perfectly sweet, with a rich maple finish, and a legit syrupy texture. In fact, it has such a true flavor that you won't believe it is a sugar free maple syrup with 0 CARBS! And it is so simple to make and tastes incredible on so many recipes.

Keto Maple Syrup | The Best Sugar Free Maple Syrup 

(170 grams) brown swerve

(50 grams) confectioners swerve

(600 mL) water

tbsps. (26 grams) maple extract

(5 grams) butter extract

vanilla extract

(2 grams) cinnamon

(2 grams) xanthan gum

Add brown swerve, confectioners swerve, and water to a medium-sized pot. Mix ingredients with a spoon and put on a burner over medium heat.

Bring mixture to a boil and stir ingredients occasionally while bringing to a boil. 

Once it boils, turn the heat down to low. Add in maple syrup extract, butter extract, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.

Whisk ingredients together until they combine. Then add xanthan gum to the pot and turn the burner up a couple of notches.

Continuously whisk everything together for a couple of minutes. 

Take the pot off the heat and set aside to cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes). 

Once cooled, use a funnel to pour into empty maple syrup jars. 

Put in the fridge to continue cooling. (If syrup crystalizes while cooling, add some maple syrup to a bowl before you use it and microwave for about a minute).

Wow wow wow!!! We made this for brunch today, and it is honest to god the best sugar free maple syrup we’ve ever had.

Low Carb Keto Pancake Syrup

powdered monkfruit ((see notes above for sweetener options))

Tablespoons butter

Tablespoon maple extract

xanthan gum ((optional))

In a small saucepan over medium heat whisk together water, powdered sweetener, butter and maple extract.Bring syrup to rolling boil. Boil for 4-6 minutes, whisking frequently.

If the syrup is not as thick as you would like you can add a tiny bit of xanthan gum slowly into your syrup.&nbsp;

Water

Place the xylitol, vanilla essence and xanthan gum into a small saucepan and whisk. Add the water.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes until it starts to thicken.

Set aside to cool before storing in an airtight container

Easy Keto Maple Syrup

water (divided)

xanthan gum

granulated sweetener of choice (* See notes)

butter extract (or vanilla extract)

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of the water along with the xanthan gum. Let it sit for several minutes, for it to thicken.

In a small saucepan, add the rest of the water, salt, and granulated sweetener. On low heat, bring it to a simmer. Once simmering, remove from the heat.

Add the xanthan gum mixed water and whisk into the warm liquid. Add the flavor extracts until combined. Let the syrup cool completely and it will continue to thicken.

I just made your syrup and my house smells amazing!! I make chia pudding and add it to mu oatmeal and always add a squirt of diet syrup to it and I had run out. Thank you for this recipe as I ran out of Lakanto syrup (which does not have maple syrup in it and I have to add the extract at home anyways).  I did use a whisk to mix the mixture again during the cooling process to dissolve the xanthan gum.
