You can make homemade coleslaw that tastes even better than KFC with this easy recipe.

Better Than KFC Coleslaw

cabbage (This is about 1 large head of cabbage

green bell pepper

choped onion

chopped carrot (1 medium size carrot)

Miracle Whip Light

sugar

vinegar

vegetable oil

If you are lucky enough to have a food processor, get it out of your cupboard. Start to cut up the cabbage and place it in the processor. While cutting up the cabbage, also cut up small slices of green pepper, onion, and carrot and add to the processor.&nbsp;

Mixing up the ingredients this way will help distribute the flavors throughout the slaw. You may want to use a little less of the onion, or green bell pepper, but do use all of the carrot.&nbsp; &nbsp;

If you do not have a food processor, no problem, simply chop the cabbage, onions, and carrots into small pieces.&nbsp; Add chopped green bell pepper if desired.&nbsp;

Now mix Miracle Whip, vinegar, oil, and sugar until you have a smooth mixture. The taste should be sweet with just a hint of vinegar.&nbsp;

Amount of dressing may be increased or decreased according to the amount of slaw you are making. Add to cut up veggies and mix well. Let stand at least one hour to let flavors mix.&nbsp;

Here is the recipe: 
1-2 heads of Cabbage
1 Green Bell Pepper (optional, there is no bell pepper in the KFC recipe)
1/2 cup Onion chopped
1 carrot
2 cups of Miracle Whip Light
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions

Better than KFC Cole Slaw

You can make KFC green beans at home with this easy copycat recipe.

KFC Green Beans

14.5-ounce cans cut green beans (drained)

unsalted butter (softened)

onion

salt

pepper

garlic powder

Place the green beans in a pot and top with the rest of the ingredients. Add enough water to cover the green beans.

Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and serve.

Air fryer KFC Buttermilk Southern Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Chicken drumsticks – 1kg /2.2pounds

Hot sauce* (Franks hot sauce

Vegetable oil chicken

Salt – 3 x teaspoons

thyme – 2 x teaspoons

Basil – 2x teaspoons

Oregano – 1 x teaspoon

Celery salt – 2 x teaspoons

mustard – 1 x teaspoon

Paprika – 3 x teaspoons

Marjoram – 2 x teaspoons

ginger – 1 x teaspoon

white pepper – 2 x teaspoons

black pepper – 2 x teaspoons

Preheat prep

Preheat the air fryer (if this setting is available on the model your using)

Buttermilk Marinade

Add the buttermilk, egg and hot sauce to a large bowl. Whisk until combined then add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl, stir and set aside to use straight away or for the best results marinate overnight in the fridge. Making the Copycat KFC Original Recipe Seasoned Flour

Add flour into another large bowl alongside with the all the 11 KFC spices &amp; salt to make the seasoned flour. Mix until all the spices have combined with the flour evenly. Add 4 x tablespoons of the buttermilk marinade to the seasoned flour and mix. Little crumb will form which will help with the overall crispiness’ of the chicken.

Dredging the chicken

Using hands take one drumstick out of the buttermilk marinade, shake of the excess liquid, then add to the seasoned flour. Use your hands to cover the drumsticks with the flour, apply pressure to ensure the flour adheres fully. Shake off the excess and place into the air fryer basket.

Air frying the chicken drumsticks

Spray the dredged chicken drumsticks generously with vegetable oil, then air fry for 10 minutes at 180c/350f . After the initial 10 minutes of cooking stop the air fryer and turn the chicken drumsticks over to crisp up the other side of the chicken. Spray the chicken with oil to cover any flour patches. Then air fry for a further 7-8 minutes at 180c/350f degrees until cooked

Serving Suggestion

Remove the cooked pieces of chicken from the air fryer basket and serve straight away.

delicious but if you have larger chicken wings cook for longer

Tried this recipe tonight worked very well and delicious.  Used a whole chicken cut into pieces - took rather longer than expected to cook - would cook at 200 next time - but great recipe - thanks for that

How do I keep the flour to stay on? Parts of my drumstick are bare. Is that normal?

The cooking time is excellent, so juicy and tender. I would add less salt next time, or pergaps was too generous with my seasoning. 

FYI, a stroke of Hoisin sauce and you're looking at healthy "dunked" kfc.
