My goodness - I am going to be very busy for a long. time.  I have looked for a good Japanese site FOREVER.  Thank you so much for sharing your talent.

I am very familiar with Japanese cuisine  - - have read 4 or 5 recipes and can't wait to put them together and simply pig out. Baked breaded Tofu Chicken will be my first with Tonkatsu sauce

Made this sauce this evening and put it on homemade cheese burgers and it was simply fantastic. Had it with Japanese Kewpie mayo, lettuce and pineapple rings and have to say the combo of the tonkatsu sauce and the Japanese mayo was utterly delicious.

I also saw that you have a DIY Japanese mayo recipe too, so once my bottle of Kewpie is finished I'll be having a go at that too.

Homemade Tonkatsu Sauce Recipe

Our pasta dish is a colourful combination of fresh vegetables and herbs - ready in less than 30 minutes!

Pasta Primavera

(75 mL) Becel® Vegan margarine, melted

Tbsp. (30 mL) finely chopped fresh herbs

Step 1

Blend 1/4 cup (50 mL) Becel® Vegan margarine with herbs in small bowl; set aside. Toss vegetables, garlic and remaining margarine in large bowl. Arrange vegetables in broiler pan without rack. Roast, stirring once, until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

Step 3

Toss vegetables with hot farfalle and reserved margarine mixture.

MASH egg yolks in small bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients except egg white halves.

SPOON or pipe yolk filling into egg whites. Chill, if desired. Garnish, if desired, with parsley and sprinkle with paprika.

Add remaining ingredients except avocado halves and stir to mix. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper. Spoon over avocado halves. Garnish with chopped walnuts.

COOK spaghetti according to package directions; drain and rinse with cold water until completely cool.

COMBINE Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Vegan Carefully Crafted Dressing and Sandwich Spread, soy sauce, vinegar and sesame oil in large bowl. Gently stir in spaghetti and remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

(15 oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained

Cook corn in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly toasted, about 3 minutes.

Combine corn with remaining ingredients in large bowl. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
