Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Whisk melted butter, garlic, basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl.

Place a large sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet.  Layer a piece of parchment paper that is slightly smaller than the foil on top.

Lay salmon fillets on paper with a slight gab between each one.

Pour half of the lemon-basil sauce over salmon fillets.  Reserve the remaining sauce for later.  

Top each fillet with one lemon slice.

Close paper and aluminum foil around salmon to make a packet.  Bake salmon for 14-16 minutes without undoing the foil packet.

Open the foil packet, pour remaining lemon-basil sauce over fillets and return salmon to oven under a High broil for 5-7 minutes. (Make sure you tear off or fold down any parchment paper that might be sticking up!)

Easy Lemon Salmon Recipe

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Cut the baby potatoes in half. Microwave potatoes for 2-3 minutes, until fork tender.

While potatoes heat, in a small bowl mix together olive oil, lemon, honey and spices.

Line a baking sheet with foil.

Lay salmon filet in the middle of the sheet. Add green beans and potatoes to the baking sheet.

Drizzle the olive oil/spice mixture over the top of the salmon, green beans and potatoes. You can toss the potatoes/green beans so they are evenly coated.

Bake at 425 for 15 minutes, then broil for 3-5 minutes until the salmon is lightly browned.

Simple, flavorful baked salmon with a quick garlic sauce. The perfect weeknight meal with just 20 minutes and 7 ingredients required.

Lemon Baked Salmon With Garlic Dill Sauce (20 minutes!)

Tbsp avocado or olive oil

black pepper

Tbsp fresh dill, chopped ((or sub 1 tsp dried))

lemon,

hummus ((or sub store-bought))

lemon juice

garlic, minced ((reduce for less garlic flavor))

Water (to thin)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (204 C). If cooking on a baking sheet, line with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat. If using a skillet, ensure it’s oven safe (we prefer cast iron) and lightly oil and rub to coat. (Fish can stick to stainless steel pans, so we recommend using cast iron if possible.)

Prepare salmon by briefly rinsing under cold water and patting dry with a paper towel (this is an optional step, but recommended).

Once dry, drizzle both filets with a little oil and season each with a generous pinch of sea salt and black pepper. Next sprinkle on dill and top with fresh lemon slices (this is mostly for visual effect, but it also helps keep the fish more moist and infuses lemon flavor).

If cooking in a skillet: Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add a little oil. Then add salmon filets and sear on the underside for 2-3 minutes&nbsp;— this speeds the baking time and also makes the skin crispier and easy to peel away. Transfer to the preheated oven and continue cooking for 8-10 minutes, or until the center is fully cooked (check by cutting into the center of one of the filets). Set aside until serving.If cooking on a baking sheet: Transfer seasoned salmon directly to the parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the center is fully cooked (check by cutting into the center of one of the filets). Set aside until serving.

Meanwhile, prepare garlic sauce by adding hummus, lemon, dill, and garlic to a small mixing bowl and stirring to combine. Then add water a little at a time until a semi-thick, pourable sauce is achieved. Taste and adjust flavor as needed, adding more lemon for acidity, garlic for zing, or dill for herbal flavor. Add salt if needed, though we don't find that it does. Set aside.

Serve with vegetables or grains of choice and Garlic Dill Sauce. The slices of lemon can be gathered to the side and squeezed over top the fish for more flavor.

Best when fresh, though leftovers will keep in the refrigerator up to 2-3 days. Reheat on a hot skillet or in the microwave until warmed through, or enjoy cold on salads or sandwiches.

Lemon Baked Salmon With Garlic Dill Sauce (20 Minutes!) | Minimalist Baker Recipes

This baked honey lemon salmon is ready in under 30 minutes! It&#x27;s impossible to wind up with dry salmon when making this recipe, it&#x27;s just that good!

Sheet Pan Honey Lemon Salmon

salmon fillet

unsalted butter (melted)

lemon juice (from about 1 lemon)

black pepper (or to taste)

parsley (optional for garnishing)

Preheat oven to 375F and place a piece of foil on the baking sheet to cover it completely.

Place salmon on the foil (with the longer side parallel with the longer side of the sheet pan) with the skin-side down. Raise the edges of the foil up about 2 inches (or enough so that when you pour the buttery mixture over the top it will be contained in the foil).

Nestle lemon slices underneath the salmon, spaced evenly around the fillet; set aside.

To a microwave-safe glass measuring cup or bowl, add the butter and heat on high power to melt, about 1 minute.

Stir in the honey and lemon juice. Pour or spoon about two-thirds of the mixture over the salmon; reserve remainder.

Evenly season with Morton Kosher Salt and pepper, to taste.

Seal up the foil. Likely you will need to add another sheet of foil on top in order to seal it. Crimp or pinch the top and bottom pieces of foil together; get it as air-tight as possible but it doesn’t have to be perfect. If you have time, set aside to marinate for about 10 to 15 minutes (enhanced flavor).

Bake for about 15 minutes.

Remove salmon from the oven and remove the top piece of foil or open up the packet so salmon is exposed but keep the edges raised to contain the buttery mixture.

Set oven to Hi broil.

Spoon the reserved buttery mixture over the salmon, if desired. Use your judgment and if there’s already lots of juice you don’t need to add it because you don’t want it to start leaking. If you have extra buttery mixture, it’s great served over the finished dish.

Broil salmon for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until as golden as desired. Keep a close eye on it because all broilers are different and you don’t want it to burn. Exact broiling time will depend on the size and thickness of the salmon, climate and oven variances, and personal preference.

Optionally garnish with parsley and serve immediately. Salmon is best warm and fresh but will keep airtight in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Lightly coat each fillet with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Place fillets skin-side down in the basket of the air fryer. Cover the salmon with lemon slices Set air fryer to 390 degrees for 7-10 minutes.

This easy baked lemon salmon is roasted until tender with tangy lemon, garlic, and dill, which delivers a burst of freshness in just 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Allow the salmon to come to room temperature (or brine it in Step 2). 

Brine the salmon (optional): While the oven preheats, in a shallow dish mix together 4 cups room temperature water and 3 tablespoons kosher salt. Place the salmon in the water and wait for 15 minutes (this should be about the time it takes to preheat).

Brush a medium baking dish with olive oil. Place the lemon rounds on the bottom of the baking dish. Place the butter pats on top of the lemons rounds (or drizzle with olive oil). Place the salmon filets on top of the lemon. Sprinkle the salmon with the kosher salt evenly divided among the fillets.

In a medium bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, and dill. Sprinkle the mixture evenly on top of the fillets. 

Bake the salmon for 10 to 16 minutes, depending on thickness, until just tender and pink at the center (the internal temperature should be between 125 to 130°F in the center). A 1-inch thick fillet should cook in about 15 minutes total.

For a crispy top, when the salmon is at 115°F, broil for about 2 minutes (about the last 2 minutes of the cook time). Spoon the melted butter over the salmon before serving. Leftovers last refrigerated for up to 3 days.
