Frozen Raspberry and Vodka Lemonade

Geoffrey Zakarian's Frozen Raspberry and Vodka Lemonade is seen on the set Food Network's The Kitchen, Season 7.

Combine the frozen raspberries, lemonade concentrate, vodka, ice cubes and 1/2 can of water (from the lemonade can) and puree in a blender until smooth.

Divide the mixture among 6 small rocks glasses or cordial glasses and serve with a straw.

Used my Vitamix and it was perfection.  Yum!  Hiccup!  ;)

This tastes really good, the frozen raspberries bit is a little odd to me so I think I might use fresh next time. Other than that it's great! 

This was absolutely delicious! Hubby and I just finished a whole pitcher by the pool today. Perfectly sweet and tart! I used Citron vodka too.<br />GZ, you're a bad, bad influence!!! 

This makes a super easy beautiful cocktail but it is really sweet. It was actually too sweet for us so we added some dry rose' and oh yum was it good!!

Fresh Lemonade

lemon juice (5 to 6 lemons)

water

Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until completely smooth. Serve over ice.

Had leftover fresh squeezed lemon juice and 1 cup of simple syrup. added the 4 cups of water and blended.  This was delicious!  Placed in a pitcher and garnished with some lemon slices.  Perfect for a hot day!

A bit watery in my opinion.  I did 3.5 cups of water for 1 cup of lemon juice and it wasn't pungent enough for me.

Excellent!  (Lower sugar than most) I made a simple syrup...didn’t want to stir as long.  Reminded me of childhood family reunions and my aunts lemonade ♥️

I have no idea how people thought it was good. Blending it totally ruined it. It was literally a milky color! Sad all those lemons had to go to waste.

Fabulous. I used regular granulated sugar and whole ice cubes, just processing it in my Vitamix. Because I used the regular instead of superfine, I went with the 3/4 cup of sugar; it's just the perfect amount of tartness and not too sweet. Very refreshing and I think it'll be a big hit at our Fourth of July celebration.

Pink Lemonade

Place the lemon juice, sugar, ice, water, and grenadine in a blender and process until completely smooth. Place a cherry in the bottom of 6 glasses and pour the lemon juice mixture in the glass. Serve.

This was very good Pink Lemonade, very refreshing.

Easy and delicious! My family said this was the best lemonade ever! We did not have maraschino cherries, so we added more grenadine. We also added some Angostura bitters. This is our new lemonade recipe!

Was very tasty and refreshing! I used (accidentally 4 cups of ice instead of one and it turned out delicious! I don't know how Ina served this with only 1cup of ice! SO SOUR!

Ina's Pink Lemonade

Ginger Lemonade

Ice,

Combine the sugar, ginger and lemon peel in a small saucepot. Pour enough water to cover the mixture, about 1 cup. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer, about 5 minutes. Remove the saucepot from the heat and let sit at least 15 minutes up to a few hours.

Pour the lemon juice in a pitcher. Add 3 cups water and the sugar mixture and mix to combine. Serve the lemonade over ice.

Great recipe very tasty and not too high in sugar. Always looking for ways to use fresh ginger. I would recommend however straining it in a mesh nutmilk bag otherwise you have chunks of lemon/ginger in your drink. 

My boyfriend said, "This is *really* good," after he tried it : ) Next time, I will definitely make a double batch. I omitted lemon peel because I was concerned about pesticides in the rind, so I substituted a few drops of pure lemon extract instead. New favorite. I think the ginger-lemon syrup would be great in tea : ) : )

This was a very refreshing straight forward recipient. The ginger added a great twist.

This is a nice, refreshing drink.  Would be better in the summer.  I did strain the syrup before I added it to the pitcher.  Ten Dollar Dinners is my favorite show!

Baked Lemonade Pork Chops

tomato ketchup

soy sauce

cider vinegar

(1/4 pound) brown sugar

black pepper

onion ginger

paprika, chili powder

Cooking oil,

For the sauce: In a large bowl or pitcher, mix all of the sauce ingredients together. Set aside.

For the pork chops: Heat a large heavy skillet over medium heat and add enough cooking oil to coat the bottom. Dredge the pork chops in the seasoned flour and brown for approximately 2 minutes per side in the skillet. Transfer the chops to a baking pan. Fan the chops so that each chop is exposed as much as possible.

Pour the sauce over the chops and cover the baking pan with heavy aluminum foil.

Bake until the chops are tender 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Transfer the chops to a serving platter and serve.

I made it exactly as listed came out delicious only disappointment bbq sauce was not as thick as in picture. Will add red pepper flakes next time to make it spicy. 

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL FAMILY FAVORITE! Wow...These pork chops rock! My only comment is the sauce doesn't thicken up into a lacquer sauce once it's finished cooking. The easy fix is take out some of the liquid into a separate pot, set it to medium high and add in a corn starch slurry to thicken the sauce up and serve over the chops. DELICIOUS!

Very juicy and the sauce is really good, can use on other meats as well.

This is one of our family's go to favorites. The recipe makes about 8 cups of sauce, which is a little time consuming to make. I've found with our family of 6, it only takes 2 cups of sauce for the 9 chops I make, so I freeze the other three servings of sauce to save time later.

 Excellent and easy to make. The first time I made these I used turkey burgers too. I made the burgers very juicy. I made them again today and added 1/4 cup of liquid smoke

Really tasty.  I used fresh lemonade and omitted the vinegar. Very easy, too.  Will fix again!

Absolutely wonderful. My wife and I tore them up the first time I made them. My wife took a couple over to my son at work, and he was in awe. We all loved them, and yes, they were very easy to make. The best part is that we dont have to have dried chops anymore. These babies are tender and juicy.

I really liked the smell and taste, just wished mine would have turned out thicker and more like a glaze. I'll definetely tweak this, probabbly less water with the lemonade concentrate.

I think this was a wonderful new way to make pork chops. I did halve the sauce and still had extra. So, I simmered it down until it was very thick. Great on a hamburger, hot dog or you name it. As stated in other reviews, this does not taste like lemonade. I also cut the oregano. I eyeballed it. Will def make this again. 

Easy to make however there is no flavor to the sauce. There is definitely way to much sauce which as others have suggested could easily be halved. Didn't make the pork any more tender or flavorful. Very disappointed...

Cotton Candy Lemonade

Strain the lemon juice into a large serving container or pitcher, removing the seeds and pith. Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Add 4 cups cold water and continue stirring until well combined. Add the lemon slices. Just before serving, add ice into cups and pour 1 cup lemonade into each. Stir or swirl 1/2 to 3/4 cup pink cotton candy into each glass of lemonade until dissolved.

Want to make the perfect refreshing lemonade without juicing every lemon in sight? This simple blender lemonade combines just water, sugar and whole lemons. No zesting or even juicing needed! Add fresh berries or mint and in two minutes you can have a frothy drink that’s just right for a day at the pool or as an afterschool pick me up.

Whole-Lemon Lemonade

lemons (about 10 ounces; see Cook's Note)

For the lemonade: Slice off both ends of the lemons. Quarter both lemons lengthwise. Trim the segment wall (any pithy white parts) from the tips of each quarter and remove any seeds. Add the trimmed lemon quarters to a regular or high-powered blender. Pour in the sugar and 1 cup of water. Blend until completely smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Add 4 more cups of water to the blender and blend until the liquids combine, another 5 to 10 seconds.

For the mix-ins: At this point, you can add the blueberries, strawberries or mint to flavor your lemonade, and blend again until smooth.

If you are using a high-powered blender, you can pour this directly from the blender into a glass over ice, or transfer to a covered pitcher or jar and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

If you are using a standard blender, you will need to strain your lemonade through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the bitter pulp that remains. Use a rubber spatula to press juice out of the pulp in the strainer. Discard the pulp and serve the lemonade over ice.

Lemon Limeade

In a large saucepan, heat the sugar and 2 cups water until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is hot. Allow to cool, and then place into a large drink dispenser or jug. Add the lemon juice and lime juice and stir. Fill with ice and top with 1 gallon (16 cups) cold water. Add the lemon and lime slices.

Just made it. Awesome! Didn't change a thing.

Total hit with everyone who’s had it. I love this recipe so much, i bought a juicing attachment for my kitchen aide. I’ve also experimented a bit with the recipe, add more lime juice for a more limey taste. I also use less water to make it more tart. Awesome recipe!
