Dr. Group's Liver Cleanse Soup

water (filtered/purified)

organic vegetable broth

organic beets ((peeled + diced))

carrots ((sliced))

organic broccoli ((chopped))

organic garlic ((freshly crushed))

onion

organic lemon ((freshly squeezed))

organic bay leaves

Himalayan pink salt

organic ground turmeric

organic dried oregano

organic ground black pepper

Prep

Slice/Dice/Cut the beets, carrots, broccoli, and onions to the size of your preference (see notes below).

Prepare the veggies:

Boil

Add all the ingredients for the soup to a medium-size pot and bring to a boil.

Simmer

Lower the heat and simmer on low heat for approximately 1 hour, or until the veggies are soft.

Adjust

Add extra water or veggie broth if needed and adjust seasonings to your preference.

Liver Cleanse Juice (Energizing!)

dandelion greens,

parsley

Cut the produce into large pieces that will fit through the feeding tube of a juicer. If you will be using a blender to make your juice, then cut your produce into smaller pieces than if you are using a juicer. If using a blender, you may also wish to remove the stems from the parsley.

If you are using a juicer

, then run the vegetable and fruit pieces through the juicer. Collect the juice and serve immediately.

If you are using a food processor or blender

, add the beets, dandelion greens, parsley, lemon, cucumber, and apple pieces to the base. Add 1 cup of water. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth.

Then, pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing it from the top down to drain the juice into a pitcher. Discard the collected pulp, or save it and use it for another purpose.

This one tastes great and makes me feel really good after drinking it.

These ingredients work so well together and make for a delicious way to achieve better health! I make a large batch of this juice 2-3 times per week and have it every morning either with or before breakfast. I use green apples to add the perfect amount of sweetness. So far I've seen an overall increase in energy and improvement in my digestive system, so thank you for this recipe!
