This is a Daiquiri recipe I invented, drawing upon the grand tradition of the drink and updating it with current ingredients and the flavours that I find most appealing. It’s an irresistibly tasty and refreshing blend, with well-balanced flavours. Also, as you may have figured, I have cleverly named it after myself.

Zaiquiri

1.5 oz Malibu rum

Lime

.5 oz Raspberry Liqueur

Maraschino Cherry

oz Tangerine Juice

Pour

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with cracked ice.

Strain

Shake well until frost begins to form on the shaker then strain into chilled lowball glass.

Garnish

Garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve.

A boozy, summery jello shot recipes for adults! This Blue Hawaiian Jello Shots Recipe gives you colorful blue jello shots, made with Blue Curaçao liquor, Malibu Rum and lots of tropical flavor! Perfect for your summer parties, 4th of July, or any occasion where this boozy treat for adults will be appreciated.

Blue Hawaiian Jello Shots Recipe

(2 oz) plastic soufflé cups

oz box Berry Blue Jell-O gelatin

water

Blue Curaçao liquor

Malibu Rum

pineapple juice, chilled

maraschino cherries, without stems, drained

1. Place the plastic soufflé cups on a baking sheet or tray.

2. Add the powdered JELL-O to a large mixing bowl and pour the boiling water into the bowl. Whisk until the gelatin is fully dissolved. Add the Blue Curaçao, Malibu Rum and pineapple juice to the gelatin mixture. Stir to incorporate. Pour the gelatin into the cups. Place baking sheet or tray of jello shots into the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.

3.  Before serving, cut fresh pineapple into bite-size wedges and cut a slit into each pineapple wedge. Place each wedge onto the rim of each jello shot cup.  Place a maraschino cherry on top of the blue gelatin, in the middle.

Close your eyes. Take a Sip of this Brazilian Lemonade. A creamy coconut lime cocktail that will have you feeling like you’re on a mini vacation.

Brazilian Lemonade Cocktail a.k.a. The Mini Vacation

limes (washed thoroughly, with ends cut off, and

sugar

Coconut Rum (to taste (Malibu Rum))

Mix water and sugar, pour half of the this into your blender, add half of the limes. (yes the whole thing, skin and all!) Blend completely.

Place a wire strainer (got to have small holes here!) over your pitcher that you will be serving the drinks in. Pour the mixture over the strainer and catch all of the pulp. 

Discard the pulp.  

Repeat with the other half of the limes and sugar water.

To the lime and sugar water mix, add the sweetened condensed milk and stir. Chill until you're ready to mix up the cocktails, or drink as is as a mocktail, without the rum.

Add rum to your glass of ice, pour drink mixture over and stir.

Garnish with a lime slice and a cocktail umbrella if desired.
