Million Dollar Spaghetti

spaghetti noodles

(1 Medium) yellow onion (chopped)

garlic (minced)

sweet Italian sausage (casing removed)

cottage cheese or ricotta cheese

cream cheese

sour cream

Italian seasoning

mozzarella (shredded-divided)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Bring a large pot of water, with 1 Tablespoon of salt, to a boil. Cook pasta according to the package. Drain well, then return pasta to original pot, and add 3 cups or 1 jar of prepared marinara sauce and combine. Set aside.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers. Add onion and garlic and cook until they begin to soften about 5 minutes. Add sausage to skillet, and brown, crumbling sausage with a wooden spoon.  Cook until there is no longer any pink in sausage. Drain well. Add the remaining 3 cups or 1 jar marinara sauce to skillet. Set aside.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine Cottage cheese or ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup mozzarella, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.

Place half the sliced of butter in the baking dish. Spread half the spaghetti in the dish, then spread cheese mixture evenly over spaghetti. Top with the remaining butter slices.&nbsp;Spread remaining spaghetti over cheese mixture. Pour tomato meat sauce evenly over top layer of spaghetti.

Top with remaining mozzarella and bake in preheated oven until casserole is heated through, about 35-45 minutes.

½ lb 1% cottage cheese (equals 1 cup)

whole wheat pasta (zoodles, or tofu shirataki noodles)

cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Cook noodles to al dente.

Cook ground turkey until done and drain.

Combine cream cheese, yogurt, and cottage cheese until well blended

Mix the cream cheese mixture together with sauce,ground turkey and noodles.

Pour it into a 9*13 casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.

Top with cheddar cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes covered. Remove cover and bake for another 15 minutes.

Cook the spaghetti noodles to al dente per package directions. Once done, drain and set aside.

While the spaghetti cooks, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Once it is done, drain then mix together with the spaghetti sauce.

In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Italian easoning. Mix until smooth.

In a 9x13 casserole dish, spread a thin layer of sauce over the bottom. Add half the spaghetti noodles on top of the sauce. Then spread evenly over the noodles half of the meat sauce, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat these layers with the remaining spaghetti, meat sauce, and cheese.

Bake at 375˚F for 40-45 minutes or until the edges are bubbly and the casserole is hot throughout.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

(24 oz) jar spaghetti sauce

oz cream cheese, softened

cottage cheese

(1 stick) butter, sliced

(16 oz) package spaghetti

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9&#215;13-inch baking dish.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until just al dente, then drain and set aside.

In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth. Set aside.

Stir spaghetti sauce into the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
