Citrus and mint infused water has done wonders for upping my daily intake. That’s right, the days of not drinking enough water are officially over! 

Citrus and Mint Infused Water

Wash and slice lemons into thin rings. Break the mint leaves into small pieces. Place ingredients into a cups.

Fill the cups with ice and water, let the water soak up the flavor of citrus and mint for at least 10 minutes.

Summer in a glass is possible with this Strawberry Mint Lemonade! Fresh pureed strawberries are muddled with mint, then mixed with freshly squeezed lemonade - you can even turn this into a refreshing poolside cocktail by adding your favorite liquor!

Strawberry Mint Lemonade

lemon juice (divided (from about 5 lemons))

Combine the sugar, 1 cup of water, and mint leaves in a medium saucepan. Bring to a low boil, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 minute.

Remove from the heat and allow to steep for 30 minutes.

Pour the cooled simple syrup through a strainer into a mason jar or bottle. Discard the mint (or save for garnishing.)

In a blender, combine 1/4 cup of lemon juice with the fresh strawberries. Blend well, then pour the liquid into a pitcher though a strainer to remove the berry seeds (if desired - if you like texture, leave it all in!)

Add the remaining lemon juice and 2-3 cups of water to the pitcher and stir well. Add the minted simple syrup to taste (I used the whole batch!), stir, then chill for at least 3 hours, up to overnight for best flavor.

Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices, sliced strawberries, and sprigs of mint.

Combine

In a high-powered blender, add the medium limes, whole milk, cold water, granulated sugar, and fresh mint leaves.

Blend

Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined. DO NOT OVERMIX it will cause the drink to be bitter.

Strain

Pour the liquid through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp or solids.

Serve

Serve the over a glass filled with ice cubes. For the best taste and texture, enjoy the drink immediately!

Thank you so much for good receipt. In this receipt Egyptian Limonade/mynte, i also tried dried mynte (put a little in hot water to make tge taste stronger) and honey with citrus because that is more healthy than raddined sugar🫂❤️

This mint lemonade, known as limonana in the Middle East, is a refreshing summer beverage that you can make into an iced drink or slushie!

Mint Lemonade (Limonana)

mint leaves ((plus more for garnish))

lemon juice ((from 2-3 lemons))

honey

salt ((balances the sweetness))

Load all ingredients into a powerful blender—the mint (set some aside for garnish), lemon juice, water, ice, honey, and salt. Blend until combined. Blend at a slower speed for an icier consistency and faster for a smoother slushy consistency.

A variation is to simply mix all the ingredients together in a pitcher. You can just chop or crush the mint leaves, so you have a more conventional lemonade.

I just made this. It is hot and sunny and I have a garden full of mint and a bag of Costco seedless lemons. To say that this drink is delicious is an understatement. I made a big pitcher and left it in the fridge. I’m having a glass now with a few ounces of tequila. Yum!!!
