These Savory &amp; Spicy Rosemary Roasted Mixed Nuts are the perfect combination of savory, salty, spicy and sweet!  They make a great, quick and easy appetizer or snack... but be warned, they are seriously addictive! &nbsp;

Savory & Spicy Rosemary Roasted Mixed Nuts

½ Cups Mixed Raw Nuts ((pecans, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, macadamia, almonds))

TBS Unsalted Butter

TBS Fresh Rosemary (– finely chopped)

TBS Light Brown Sugar

tsp Cumin

Cayenne Pepper

tsp Sea Salt

¼ tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper

½ tsp Pure Maple Syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up.

Season nuts:  Place the nuts in a medium sized mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar, cumin, cayenne, salt and black pepper. Set aside.

Melt butter:  (On the Stovetop) In a medium sized sauté pan, over medium low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the rosemary and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.  Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup. (In the Microwave) Melt butter in the microwave.  Stir in the rosemary and set aside for 1 minute.  Add in the maple syrup.

Add butter to nuts:  Pour the butter over the nuts.  Stir and toss to completely coat.

Bake:  Transfer the seasoned nuts to the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until nuts are toasted and light golden in color, about 10-15 minutes, tossing once halfway through baking.

Cool:  Allow the nuts to cool on the pan for 15 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl or a container with a tight fitting lid for storage.  Enjoy!

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, sinnamon and cayenne; set aside. In a large bowl, whisk the egg white, then add nuts and cranberries. Sprinkle with sugar mixture and toass to coat. Spread in a single layer on a greased baking sheet.

This fuss-free crumble is one to commit to memory - sprinkle it over any in-season fruit for an easy weeknight dessert.

Maple roasted pears with nut crumble recipe

pears,

unsalted butter, chopped,

(55 grams) caster sugar

mixed nuts (we used pecans, walnuts

(150 grams) plain flour

(45 grams) rolled oats (we used Woolworths Macro rolled oats)

tsp allspice

Sweet & spicy nuts

½ tsp mixed spice

tbsp honey

Heat oven to 140C/120C fan/gas 1. Mix the oil with the spices, then stir in the nuts and drizzle over half the honey. Spread over a baking sheet and cook for 10 mins.

Remove from the oven and drizzle over the remaining honey, then return to the oven and cook for a further 10 mins. Allow to cool completely.

Make a colourful berry smoothie bowl for breakfast. You could swap in mango, pineapple and kiwi and substitute coconut water for the oat milk for a tropical version

Put the berries, banana, oat milk, maple syrup and protein powder in a powerful blender and blend until smooth. Add a splash more milk if needed, but remember it needs to be quite thick.

Spoon the smoothie into a bowl and dot over the fresh fruit, granola and mixed nuts and seeds. Drizzle over the almond butter to serve.
