No need for takeout, this Mongolian Noodles recipe is made with ground beef and everyday ingredients. Best of all, it can be ready in just 15 minutes!

Mongolian Noodles with Ground Beef

beef

soy sauce

hoisin sauce

beef broth

brown sugar

ginger

garlic, minced

red pepper flakes

black pepper

oz box of linguine, spaghetti, or rice noodles

green onion, optional

Start water to boil, once boiling cook pasta according to box instructions.

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain and return to skillet.

Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper and stir until combined.

Serve with chopped green onion if desired

This really is a delicious recipe!  I only used 8 ounces of spaghetti and it was plenty!  I will adjust the recipe in the future.  I will make this often.

This was such a simple and delicious meal.  Everyone in my family, kids included devoured this and asked for seconds.  We ate it with an asian slaw salad (in a bag from the grocery store) it was so good i'm making it again the following week :0)  Make this you will not be disappointed

This was so easy and really very good. I used Thai rice noodles and added diced fresh red bell pepper as well as the green onion. Next time I’ll add bean sprouts, and maybe fresh cilantro. I’m thinking all the add ins for pho would be delicious with this. Thank you!

This was a hit and kid approved. I used porcini bouillon instead of beef broth and honey instead of brown sugar. My beef was super wet so I cooked it at a high heat to reduce...and in fact made the beef very rich and carmelized. I think it would be complete with an egg noodle or rice noodle. Excellent dish and so easy to sneek in fresh market veggies.  I cut niblets off of a corn, chopped some baby spinach and added peppers. Perfect amount og hoisen, soya and stock. I was done in the 15 minutes lol.Thank you.

This is good. I onlybadded 1 1/2 Tbs of brown sugar. My hubbys diabetic. I also used Udon noodles. Added shredded carrots and coarsely  chopped onions to the mix. Need those veggies.

Easy to make. I made it with some rice noodles and dried thai peppers. Might add some veggies  and kale to it next time. Also used ground wagyu and drained it pretty good. For sure will make again with what ever ingrediants i have on hand at the time. :)

FAR too salty!my husband who loves salt couldn’t even finish it.  Would definitely use low sodium soy sauce if I ever made this again

I made this recipe exactly as written. In my opinion, an entire 16 oz package of pasta was way too much for the amount of other ingredients called for.  After adding the noodles to the meat and sauce, the sauce coating was thin and had very little meat in it and it was difficult to get so much pasta mixed and coated. The flavor was good, but very weak due the huge amount of noodles.  I believe the recipe should be amended to 8 oz of pasta.  Maybe it’s an error or typo.

This Mongolian ground beef noodles recipe is one of the easiest Asian dinners that we’ve ever made! With a quick homemade sauce, lo mein noodles, and ground beef, this flavorful dish is done in under 20 minutes!

Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

oz lo mein noodles (*See notes)

lb beef

cornstarch

garlic

high-heat cooking oil (like avocado oil)

green onions

Boil the noodles according to package instructions, but reduce the cooking time by about 1-2 minutes.  *You want the noodles to be just shy of al dente because they will continue to cook on the griddle with the ground beef and sauce.  Drain noodles and set aside.

Preheat griddle or large skillet to medium heat.  For griddle cooking, aim for a griddle temperature of about 400°F.

While the noodles are boiling, prepare the sauce.  Add beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and corn starch to a bowl and mix well for the cornstarch to dissolve.  Mix in about 75% of the ginger and garlic, reserving the rest for later.  Set the sauce to the side.

When griddle or skillet is hot, begin cooking the ground beef.  Add the ground beef in small chunks spread out on the griddle or skillet so that the beef can sear on the first side. Allow it to cook untouched for 2-3 minutes for a nice char to develop.

When the beef is about halfway cooked through but you still see some pink on top, add the whites of the green onions.  Then chop and sauté the ground beef together.  When the beef is almost all the way cooked through, move it to the side of the griddle to make room for the noodles, or for skillet cooking, transfer to a bowl.

Add about 1 tablespoon of oil to the griddle or skillet.  Add the remaining minced garlic and ginger to the oil, and spread it out a bit to toast briefly (about 1 minute). *You don’t want the ginger and garlic to burn, but this step helps to create wonderful aromatics and extra flavor for your noodle dish.

Add the drained noodles to the griddle or skillet. Mix briefly to incorporate the garlic and ginger. Then, spread the noodles out in an even layer and cook untouched for about 1-2 minutes.

Add the cooked ground beef to the noodles and sauté together briefly. Then, slowly pour in the prepared sauce.

Toss everything together, ensuring the sauce fully coats the noodles. Sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened to your liking. *Remember, the sauce will continue to thicken a bit as the noodles cool also.

Sprinkle the noodles with the tops of the green onions, and serve immediately.

I havent actually made this yet, (im about to though) I'm cooking for one person and when I switched the recipe down to one serving instead of two it changed the recipe amounts to decimals instead of the usual fractions etc. In fact this happens for any number of guests other than 2 I just noticed. Anyway, I also wanted to thank you and Amy for all the great recipes and videos, I'm inspired to cook every time I watch one of your videos, please keep'em coming!

Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles - SO EASY and Done in 20 Minutes!  Major FLAVOR!

There&#39;s nothing quite like a good bowl of Mongolian ground beef noodles. This dish is hearty and flavorful, with a mix of savory and sweet flavors that will leave you wanting more.

Easy Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

Ground beef

Ginger paste

½ C. Beef broth

½ C. Soy sauce

¼ C. Brown sugar

⅓ C. Hoisin sauce

Pepper and red pepper flakes

Box linguini noodles

Cook the linguini noodles to your liking and drain well.

Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium-high heat and saute until browned completely.

Stir in the ginger paste and garlic, and saute for another minute.

Mix in the beef broth, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar and pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Saute for 10-15 minutes on low heat until the sauce thickens a bit.
