Vegan Mushroom Sauce (Oilfree Creamy Mushroom Wine Sauce)

tsp oil

mushrooms

garlic

tbsp finely chopped onion or shallots

tsp dried herbs

tsp salt

tsp black pepper

Heat oil or broth in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and Cook until golden. 5 o 8 mins.

Add garlic and onion and cook for a minute. Add the herbs, salt and pepper and mix in.

Add non dairy cream of choice and mix in. You can use half water and half non dairy cream for less creeamy mushroom sauce. Bring to a boil. Taste and adjust flavor. Adjust consistency with veggie broth if needed.

Morton's Steakhouse Chicken Christopher Recipe

boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper,

olive oil

butter

mushrooms, sliced (Optional)

garlic,

dry white wine

chicken broth

thyme

rosemary

heavy cream

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook on both sides, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms and garlic, and cook until the mushrooms are so tender about 5 minutes.

Pour in the white wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in the thyme and rosemary.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.

Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly. Serve your chicken with the sauce on top, I love to enjoy it with some Brocolie and some fried carrots. and sometimes some garlic bread.
