Disneyland’s Mint Julep Copycat Recipe

sugar

lime juice

club soda

lemonade

mint leaves

pineapple slices

maraschino cherries

toothpicks

In a saucepan mix sugar and soda over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.

Add lime juice and lemonade and bring mixture to a boil.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add crem de menthe syrup.

Chill in fridge 30 minutes to an hour

For a 2 cup serving, mix 1/2 cup mixture with 1 1/2 cups of water.

Serve with cherries and pineapple slices on toothpick and mint leaves.

Italian Sodas

syrup (homemade blueberry or strawberry syrup)

club soda (any sparkling water)

cream

Fill a glass with ice.

Pour 1/4 part syrup over the ice.

Add in the club soda.

Pour in a small amount of cream and stir.

Italian Soda

This blueberry mocktail is a fun non-alcoholic drink to enjoy with friends and family. Vegetarian and gluten free, and kid-friendly too!

Blueberry Mocktail

blueberries

tbsp honey

still water

water (to serve)

ice cubes (to serve)

berries (optional, to garnish)

Add the blueberries, mint, honey and still water to a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a very light simmer and stir to combine. Cook for 15 minutes, pressing any stubborn blueberries that aren&#39;t bursting against the side of the pan with a wooden spoon.

Pour the blueberry syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or jug (a jug is easier for pouring into your glasses!). Press the syrup through the sieve with a wooden spoon and discard the blueberry skins and mint leaves that are left in the sieve. Set aside the syrup to cool (about 20 minutes).

Pour approximately 1/2 inch of the blueberry syrup into your glasses and add in ice cubes. Top with sparkling water, and garnish with frozen berries and fresh mint leaves.

This was fruity, delicious and so easy to make! It looks fabulous in a cocktail glass too, perfect for the festive season!
