Paloma

tequila

grapefruit juice (plus wedges for garnish)

sparkling water

lime juice

agave nectar

Coarse sea salt (for the rim of the glasses)

Salt the rim of the glass by rubbing a grapefruit wedge around the edge and dipping it onto a small plate of salt.

Mix the tequila, grapefruit juice, sparkling water, lime juice, and agave nectar into the glass. Fill the remainder of the glass with ice. Adjust sweetness to taste. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.

Paloma Cocktail

kosher salt

oz grapefruit juice

oz tequila blanco

lime juice (from 1/2 lime)

club soda (to preference)

Juice grapefruit.

Slice the grapefruit in half widthwise. Using a citrus juicer, reamer, or the tines of a fork, juice one half of the fruit and set aside. Cut the other half into 1/2&quot; slices. 

Make salted rim.

Spread kosher salt onto a small plate and shake to create an even layer of salt. Run one of the grapefruit slices along the rim of the glass, then dip the glass into the salt to create a salt rim. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

Stir cocktail.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup or agave nectar. Stir to combine all ingredients.

Strain and garnish.

Pour the cocktail into the prepared cocktail glass. Top with soda water to your preference and garnish with a grapefruit wedge. Serve immediately.&nbsp;

Easy Tequila and Squirt Paloma Cocktail

Combine tequila and grapefruit and you've got the classic Mexican paloma cocktail! Here's how to make this tangy and refreshing drink.

ounces* tequila blanco

ounces** fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

simple syrup

soda water

Flaky sea salt & grapefruit wedge,

Cut a notch in the grapefruit wedge, then run the grapefruit around the rim of a glass. Dip the edge of the rim into a plate of flaky sea salt.

To the glass, add the tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup and stir until combined.

Fill the glass with ice (clear ice if you want to get fancy!). Top with soda water and serve!

Loved this drink; used lime Perrier for the soda water. Refreshing!

Mezcal Paloma

oz Mezcal (or sub tequila)

oz Grapefruit juice

oz honey simple syrup

Club soda

Combine

Combine salt, chili powder, and lime zest and spread out a small plate.

Make Chili-Lime Salt Rim

Wipe the rim of a highball glass with a wedge of lime. Dip into the chili-lime salt to coat rim.

Shake

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the mezcal, grapefruit juice, and simple syrup and shake about 15 seconds.

Pour

Pour into a salt-rimmed glass and top off with club soda and a few ice cubes.  Garnish with mint and grapefruit wedges.
